Former intelligence chief Christopher Mellon has said he believes the US has recovered technology that 'did not originate on this earth'.
Ahead of a scheduled Congress hearing about UFOs on Wednesday, Mellon said America 'may have in our possession off-world technology recovered from someone else's space program'.
The 65-year-old served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence in the Clinton and Bush administrations, and he now works as a private equity investor.
In 2020, he admitted he was the secret source who provided the New York Times with the three UFO videos it famously published in 2017.
Mellon said he expects some 'new information' will surface at the House Oversight Committee hearing on unidentified aerial phenomena - or UFOs - which will also be attended by Air Force and intelligence agency veteran David Grusch on Wednesday.
'I expect Dave will provide some new information that we have not heard before,' Mellon told NewsNation's Chris Cuomo on Monday evening.
'The objective here, I think, and the opportunity, is for the American people to come to better understand why it is that so many in Congress actually takes seriously the idea that there are UFOs, UAP (unexplained aerial phenomenon) that are violating U.S. airspace and the associated rumor, allegation, that we may have in our possession off-world technology recovered from someone else's space program.
'I've been told that we have recovered technology that did not originate on this Earth, by officials in the Department of Defense and by former intelligence officials,' he added.

Thanks, I thought it mighta been him. The skin walker ranch is really out there- the show was OK in the beginning, but quickly devolved. Stopped watching it fairly quick when they began introuncing all the spirit stuff.

I fully believe that we aren’t the only intelligent (and I use that term lightly because there’s a lot of really stupid people out there) life in the universe. I’ve never seen a UFO/UAP/ZQF/RLMO or whatever they call it this week but I know people that have and I believe them.
I believe the .gov/.mil/ powers that be are and have been in possession of ET Technology and survivors/bodies for decades and that ET has been here for millions of years and it’s nothing new to Earth.
If ET was going to destroy Humanity it would have been done already. These days they are probably looking at us and wondering how the hell we haven’t destroyed ourselves yet.

So we just take what is posted as gospel? The fella that I spoke about his claim was debunked, and that is a fact- if the “evidence can’t stand yo to questioning, then how good is that evidence? It is not “deep state” to be skeptical and to question claims. The more grandiose the claim, the more extraordinary the efid3nce needs to be.
You say you want to discuss? Part of discussion is asking questions and efen refuting claims when evidence presents itself to do so.
What exactly do you mean by “Junk posts”? Posts that don’t take everything at face value and question claims? Or posts that simply write everything off with no evidence to back up doing so? Ie “I’ve never seen a ufo therefore they don’t exist”? If the latter, then ok- that is reasonable to call such posts out. But if the former, then I telligent and thoughtful and constructive discussions must inc,use the possibility that people who witness things “might be mistaken” too, or that the evidn3ce pprovid3d might be something other tha. What it first appears to be- that is taking an objective look at issues, Not subjective only.

Short story... When I was in the garbage business we had some customers who had their garbage company #1 on speed dial. Because they had nothing better to do with their lives but jump on the chance to call and complain if their pickup was five minutes late or if the can was not put back exactly where they wanted it. They lived to cause trouble in any way they could at every chance and opportunity even if it was trivial.
This place reminds me of that same situation. There are quite a few who have a list of topics they do not like and have nothing better to do but hit speed dial and raise hell every chance they get. They get off on disrupting and causing others discomfort. Like my garbage customers they have no lives, they have nothing better to do. So they sit on the pole like predators just waiting for the opportunity to swoop in and kill something.
OK. But don’t understand why on a public forum that celebrates free speech, you have such difficulty with skeptical views.

Last night’s episode and in the spin-off show, “Beyond Skinwalker Ranch”, they really got into “skinwalkers” heavily. Fascinating stuff, and a good expose of the spirit world, which I believe, is real. Never have experienced any of it personally, but I do think it’s very, very possible and real, as aliens are.

That works both ways. Purposeful efforts to squash and suppress the free speech of others because of topic matter is also denying their opportunity to speak freely.
Common courtesy for the free speech of others whether you agree with it or not is also an important aspect of free speech.

i didnt mind the skinwalker stuff- but they started getting into weird stuff like ‘energy in the sky’ and other weird stuff unrelated to skinwalkers- and the like- i started watchign the show because of the skinwalker legend- wanted to know more about it- but it diverged so radically for awhile i just quit watching
There is absolutely no effort to squash or censor the free speech of others by expressing serious, well thought skepticism regarding your hard and devout beliefs regarding UFOs. Sorry but criticism is part and parcel of debate and free speech.

Yes there is... There is a list of folks who go out of their way to disrupt any productive discussion about certain topics. Their intentions are not just to have open debate. Their intentions are to derail, squash, and ridicule any discussion about topics they don’t like.
Apparently, all their instruments detect real ‘energy in the sky’, so I’ve learned to let that fact be “one of the puzzle pieces” that I don’t truly understand.
But later, they found that “portals” and “worm holes” do emit RF energy at 1.6 MHz, and also emit thermal patterns, do exist.
They have UFLs flying into the mesa and coming out the other side, with the RF spectrum going wild. Just as when skinwalkers appear, the RF spectrum goes nuts.
I just accept it, and wait for a correlation to other facts, so that another “one of the puzzle pieces” fits into place. It takes a little patience, but it pays off.

I do too- absolutely- the bible even discusses the spirit realm in several key passages- but i do believe the spirits are demonic, not departed souls- there definitely is a spiritual battle going on that we can’t see but which is very real-
im not sure what to think of portals- i keep an open mind to the possibility-
