This is shocking that you’ve left us, Laz. Too young. I began lurking here over 20 years ago when I took notice of Laz’s brilliant writing talent and sense of humor. I’ll always remember you as one of the titans of FR. No one can compare. Way back then he reminded me of a fraternity boy with his antics, but over the years we watched him mature. Well, kind of, Lol. Most importantly it seemed to me that over the years you made right with the Lord. I hope this is true so we can enjoy his wit and brilliance for eternity. Maybe this is the effect of losing so many freepers over the years and you realized the fleeting nature of life in this world. FR will never be the same without Laz. I hope you’ve left an AI version of yourself to keep posting in your name.

I used to think Laz was a professional FR poster. I didn’t know if he was retired, or whatever.

When I was lurking and read about his late cat Kathy (I think that was her name), he became a person and not a nick.

During the pandemic, he posted one of THE most important articles.

Then he revealed that he has IT and related skills.

But FINALLY, when parking my car in garage in a major city in the Northeast, I obtained his secret identity….
