9 The Passion Of The Christ 2004
Public perception of this movie wasn’t helped by Mel Gibson’s overt anti-Semitism, but The Passion of the Christ clearly depicts the Jewish people as the cause of Jesus Christ’s death, an unfortunate misconception that has resulted in an unknown (but certainly extremely high) number of Jewish deaths over the years.

Thanks, at least five of those will always be known as true greats of cinema, too big to ignore in the future, whether one approves of their tone or not.
It wasn’t the Germans that killed the jews in ww2 or the jews that killed Jesus.
Right?
Man is capable a of great evil when he rejects God. Those jews involved rejected god, as did those germans.
Not everyone was complicit, obviously. Individuap free will makes each complicit.
Think about this....lovey dovey love the sinner not the sin Jesus RIPPED THE PHARISEES to shreds verbally many times, yet during the passion, accepted everyone’s sins atoning upon himself.
Germans, Jews, stop hating yourselfs and feeling the world hates you. The individuals involved were properly dealt with and forgiven or cast into hell. It’s over! Except for you and me individually it continues, our free will and need to repent of our own committed sins.
If The Passion of the Christ is anti-Semitic, then the Bible is anti-Semitic.
One wrong move and the Jew gets out on the list!
Was it more or less cartoonish than Peter Seller’s portrayal of a Charlie Chan-type detective in “Murder By Death”?
Notice “White Men Can’t Jump” didn’t make the list
“The Passion of the Christ” portrayed many Jews poorly, but was fairly accurate. “Schindler’s List” portrayed many Germans poorly, but was fairly accurate. Are both films racist?
Methodists know who killed Jesus.
Died He for me, who caused His pain—
For me, who Him to death pursued?
Amazing love! How can it be,
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?--from "Amazing Love" by Charles Wesley, 1739
‘I see Spike Lee’s “White Men Can’t Jump” didn’t make the list either.’
Maybe because he didn’t direct that one. You’re probably thinking of “Do The Right Thing”.
Except when Pilate offered to pardon one prisoner, it wasn’t the leaders who demanded that Barabbas be freed instead of Jesus, it was the whole crowd of the common people who demanded Barabbas.
The very term “racist” is racist itself when uttered by the left because it only applies to caucasians.
Looks sexist to me. On the list because it was from the greatest female director of all time.
My view is, the resurrection of Jesus is the wonder.
Liz Taylor as Cleopatra. Yul Brynner King of Siam.
Triumph of the Will

On the list because it promotes Hitler and Nazism.
that thought never crosses my mind when I watch that movie
Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis as Vikings?
And even Jackie Brown Sammie jackson got to kill a white boy......because it was duh-niro’s character, I’ll give it a pass. 😏
It also fulfilled prophecy as it was ordained to happen just the way it did
