As Bud Light, once a beloved contender among the country's favorite beers, spirals down to the 14th spot, the repercussions resonate far beyond the brand itself.
A recent YouGov survey reveals the decline in Bud Light's ranking, casting it below competitors like Pabst Bue Ribbon, Miller Genuine Draft and Miller Lite. This seismic shift in popularity jeopardizes the livelihoods of the 65,000 people whose economic well-being is intricately tied to Anheuser-Busch InBev's success.
Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth has taken full responsibility for the controversial promotion involving transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney that caused sales to plummet. In an interview with CBS, Whitworth emphasized that he is ultimately accountable for the actions of the company, expressing concern for the people whose livelihoods depend on Anheuser-Busch.
"It's the impact honestly on the employees that weighs the most on me," he said.
Whitworth called on people not to punish the workforce but rather to attribute blame to him. He made it clear that he acknowledges the repercussions of the promotion and urged consumers to continue supporting Bud Light.
While Anheuser-Busch has attempted to downplay Mulvaney's role in its overall strategy, Whitworth confirmed that the company will maintain its partnerships without making any changes. He did not explicitly apologize for the collaboration with Mulvaney, despite some consumers demanding an official acknowledgment of the mistake as a prerequisite for restoring their patronage.

Kind of like how Hillary tried to hide her socialist intentions by constantly crying about “thhhe CHILDRENNNN”:

Should have thought about all this before shoving a minority push gig down everybody else’s throat
Sorry, but no deal. Whitworth, you can step down and write a marketing book about how not to run a company. But, we don’t need AB. What next the Clydesdales being replaced by donkeys who identifys as Clydesdales?
So, who cares if Target sells LGBT kids clothes. Keep shopping there! Think of the employees!!! /sarc
Never, microbrews are usually pretty good, Bud Light has never been good.
Explain to me how one would go about that?
He should refund his last two years pay to his employees, then resign to go and take a college marketing course.
In Japan the CEO would have offed himself already.
The liberal pity party: Think of how your MAGA effects other people! Boo-Hoo! We want to rape children and you won’t let us!! WAAAHHH!
From what I understand Anheiser bought up a lot of micro breweries.
“They insulted their customers”
They did far more than insult Americans: They demanded we let them molest our children!
I understand that you may adhere to the famous maxim of “There is no such thing as bad publicity”, which does ring true in some contexts.
But when you are a food company, and the publicity is that you have rat droppings in your beverage, that might well be where that theory runs aground on the rocks!
Truth is, to a lot of Americans, this transgender BS is the equivalent of rat droppings in your food product.
Sure, there are many Leftists to whom rat droppings are a tasty addition, no surprise there, since they can not only believe their own sh*t, but eat it too.
Where the go wrong is thinking that everyone else shares the delusion, which is what they want to do with transgenderism.
This so called ceo is an absolute idiot.
He is lucky that breathing is an involuntary reflex, or he would be dead.
It’s not my place to worry about your employee’s.
That’s your job, you imbicile.
And you have failed miserably.
His blind spot is huge.
Should have thought about that before you shoved your homosexual agenda down your customers’ throats.
Normal people, especially those of almost any religion, have been HIGHLY offended by the perversion being promoted. Bud Light happened to be the lightning rod for the pent-up TRUTH suppressed by degenerate leftists out to destroy this nation.
If you really cared about your 65,000 employees, just say the aforementioned words. But, really, you don't give a $hit...
Hey Brendan Whitworth, it was you who didn’t give a crap about your employees. You own this mess, not us!
it is too late, bud can do nothing to stop this now.
The fact is Bud was piss to begin with, but people are creatures of habit. But now that this gave them the opportunity to try something else, they will never come back.
Clydesdales to the glue factory.
