This nomination is a wrap. For the good of the nation, the GOPe imposters need to drop out and coalesce around DJT. DeSantis still has a future if brings his wife home and governs Florida in the mannor he has to date.
I thought many months ago and I still think now that DeSantis was always running for VP. How is the presidential primary winner (presumably Trump this time) going to take the VP candidate seriously if that person is not in it to win it? I remember well the campaign between Reagan and Bush Sr. and it wasn’t all a bag of candy and the speculation in the MSM at the time wasn’t Bush Sr. because the press at the time thought the primary was too rough. Bush went on to win the presidency the next term.
Of course DeSantis doesn’t agree with Trump on every ‘specific’ issue but does in the bigger picture. Also DeSantis (speculating) that he didn’t expect many of the big donors, RINOs, Trump-haters, and the many uniparty hacks to join him either, we are seeing the results now.
I’m thinking that way.
Just pray we don’t end up with Scott or Haieky as VP.
It probably is. Now trump needs to expand his base. Get those who didn’t vote or voted someone else in 2020 back to his side. Nevada, Arizona, Georgia and Wisconsin are must wins for trump in 2024.
Assistant Democrats do not care about "the good of the nation."
