Subway, the popular sandwich chain, faced criticism after a sign at one of its Georgia stores appeared to make light of the tragic implosion of the Titan submersible. The Titan submersible, which was descending to the ocean floor to view the wreckage of the Titanic, suffered a catastrophic implosion resulting in the death of all five people onboard. The sign at the Subway restaurant in Rincon, Georgia, read “Our subs don’t implode,” drawing backlash for its insensitivity. Subway has since removed the sign and issued a statement expressing disapproval of the comment.

I haven’t eaten at Subway in ages... Do they still suck?
LOL, what is wrong with these corporations? It’s more than being tone-deaf. This is a complete lack of common sense.
Oh yeah, they leave you with that sinking feeling down deep.
Yes! A disgusting Hot Pocket tastes better than a Subway sandwich.
Too soon!
Wow, well considering a ‘Hot Pocket’ is nowhere near edible... Just wow!
I’ve had them explode in my colon at night!
I think it’s funny.
It’s called gallows humor.
I like the meatball subs with hot peppers.😀
Progressive cry babies. Stupidity should be pointed out as a lesson for others.
Gallows humor.
It’s one franchise shop.
It’s one franchise.
Ba-dum BUM!
The thing that strikes me is how often something like this crops up. It’s as if humans and especially humans in corporations have lost the ability to filter bad ideas and words. Or else they feel free to surrender to their basest of impulses.
