Pop singer Demi Lovato launched a bitter, profanity-laced song on the anniversary of the life-saving Dobbs v. Jackson ruling that stereotypes pro-life advocates as Christian men whose only goal is to control women’s bodies.
Lovato, 30, named her song “Swine,” a description that dehumanizes pro-life advocates as well as unborn babies. The former Disney star did not mention women either, instead referring to pregnant mothers as “birthing people.”
“It’s been one year since the Supreme Court’s decision to dismantle the constitutional right to safe abortion, and although the path forward will be challenging, we must continue to be united in our fight for reproductive justice,” she wrote June 22 in an Instagram post. “I created ‘SWINE’ to amplify the voices of those who advocate for choice and bodily autonomy.”
Lovato claimed the fight for abortion on demand is about equality and empowerment, and abortion activists are fighting for “a world where every person’s right to make decisions about their own body is honored.” Every person except unborn babies, that is.
Most of her song is too inappropriate to print. “Swine” demands that women be allowed to have irresponsible sex without consequences. The first verse describes graphic sexual interactions, and almost every line includes the word “f—,” according to EVIE Magazine.
“My life, my voice / My rights, my choice / It’s mine, or I’m just swine,” Lovato sings in the chorus, suggesting women are mere animals when laws protect their unborn babies’ lives.
In the second verse, Lovato implies that pro-life advocates are Christian men who want to force women to have children.
“Picture your faith, imagine your God and even your Holy Bible / Is suddenly banned, do you understand?” the song continues. “Now, doesn’t that sound entitled? / It’s your book, but it’s my survival.”
Lovato goes on to suggest that children are nothing but life-draining burdens to whom women are enslaved.
“We gotta grow ’em, we gotta raise ’em, we gotta feed, and bathe ’em,” she sings. “And if you won’t, they call you a witch to burn at the stake in Salem / Thought by now they’d change, but we’re still waiting / Give these mother--——- hell.”
There is so much wrong with what she claims, the first being that children in the womb have no value. From the moment of conception, a unique, living and irreplaceable child comes into existence, one who is dependent on his or her mother not just for nine months but for years until adulthood.
Contrary to Lovato’s suggestions, pro-life advocates are not solely Christian or male either. The pro-life movement is a diverse group of men and women of all faiths and no faith who believe human rights are for all human beings, born and unborn.
Since the Dobbs ruling overturned Roe v. Wade, many states have passed pro-life legislation to protect unborn babies and increase support to pregnant and parenting families in need. Currently, 18 states have pro-life laws that protect unborn babies from abortion. Most are being enforced, but some states are still fighting legal challenges to be allowed to protect unborn babies.
Tens of thousands of unborn babies’ lives have been saved as a result of these laws. Estimates vary, but a recent report from the Society of Family Planning found that abortions dropped by about 24,000 nationwide from July 2022 to March 2023.
Just another crazy white female.
Demi who?
The wailing of the wicked
Give me a break she needs to screw off
“ Just another crazy white female.”
What’s that supposed to mean?
Another Disney star who went off the rails a long time ago..almost OD’d a while back, had to be saved with narcan, apparently has learned absolutely NOTHING about how precious life is
the one what tired of of going by they/them???
so much for that motherly instinct...
” It’s your book, but it’s my survival.””
Her survival is dependent on what is in “that book.”
It is NOT the other way around.
.
Another minion of the Devil.
When are women going to stop to think the way civilized, housebroken women have thought since the beginning of time until 1973?
Sex is created by the Creator for reproduction. For having babies.
Women can use their feminist power to remind themselves and others about this. Otherwise they are idiotic and not to be held as role models in this regard
Ijut
I don’t think her singing is even halfway decent.
It means the biggest problem we have demographically in this country are white women under 40. They’re insane with self hatred and internal conflicts between their natural instincts and what they are being programmed to do.
Her song SWINE is evidently demonic as in Legion.
Lovato- “My genetics gave me a curvy figure, and I’ve come to realize that in Latina culture, that’s beautiful.”
In one of the multiple Latina magazines she is on the cover of
Aside from that I have no clue what racist crap you’re talking about.
Spreading
Satan’s voice.
Someone should ask this thirty year old celebrity who has a long history of drug and alcohol addiction how many abortions she has had. She needs to talk about it and face up. Doubling down on guilt is a very bad strategy and leads to a very sad end.
The meaning is quite clear, crazy white females as a group are the left's spearhead for undoing two thousand plus years of human advancement and achievement.
"He [Winston Smith] disliked nearly all women, and especially the young and pretty ones. It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers−out of unorthodoxy.” - Nineteen Eighty Four.
You’re jumping in?
It’s racist. I find it senseless, illogical bigoted and nothing but spreading racism nothing to do with 1984
Is she the one that Biden tried to grope a couple of weeks ago?
She’s in the pop music industry. They are all crazy.
