While many people public express having suffered the effects of Seasonal Affective Disorder during the cold, bitter winter months, it turns out it may be more impactful during the summertime, with suicide rates increasing in the summer months

I don’t ever remember myself or anyone else being depressed in summer.

Researchers are saying that the summer version of SAD needs more research...

Summer seasonal affective disorder --

It's not just $AD, it's super $$AD.

It’s not the heat. It’s who’s invading the WH

the climate mob want to focus on suicide, because they have been called out for years when they try to claim hot weather is a big killer:

2010: WattsUpWithThat: Winter kills: Excess Deaths in the Winter Months
108,500 Deaths in the US in 2008; 36,700 in England and Wales Last Winter; 5,600 in Canada (2006); 7,000 in Australia (1997-2006 Average); Thousands in Other Developed Countries
Indur M. Goklany
Since extreme cold has gripped much of the Northern Hemisphere, some newspapers have been keeping a tally of the number of deaths obviously caused by extreme cold (e.g., freezing). But the BBC’s Health Correspondent, Clare Murphy, in a very timely and, in my opinion, excellent article, How cold turns up the heat on health, reminds us that many more deaths occur from chronic conditions that are exacerbated by cold weather. She also notes that, “For every degree the temperature drops below 18C, deaths in the UK go up by nearly 1.5%.”

Following is a compilation of excess deaths during the winter months (compared to what occurs on average during the rest of the year) in a number of developed countries in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

The political climate is more depressing than the weather.

let’s face it, everybody is depressed all the time. If your meds don’t work, you get more meds, and a paper plate on a stick to disguise your sadness.

Heat? Not up here in the northeast. Rain, rain, rain, rain.
14 inches last month and almost 2 inches in the last 5 days. I’m molding.

Summertime is here. Time for “peaceful, non-violent BLM riots, attacks on Walmart and cop killings”. Then the San Fernasco taxpayers can start handing out checks for five million to all Africans.

I can see how this could be true.

As we get older our radiator begins to fail. In our youth we have a network of micro blood vessels and arteries near the surface that help to cool us. As we get older not only does our skin lose elasticity, the network of the blood radiator breaks down. Hot feels hotter and cold colder when we get old.

My late Dad became to hate summer and could not tolerate the Oklahoma heat, I am at the same point. Yesterday I was determined to defeat the self-imposed hibernation and spent the day in the shop. I was exhausted at the end of the day and I won’t go out needlessly today until late this evening.

I absolutely hate summer but this is not a new thing. You can usually put on enough clothes to be warm comfortable but you can’t ever take enough off. What a revolting thought for and old person.

"deserves more study"...aka....derserves more grant money.

That's what all these damn studies are about.

I remeber an old study: "Why do more accidents happen at this intersection"....That led to "speed lights"...which they took awaay in our area....because all the accidents were either working for the city or were the "poor" locals...I'll let you guess the demographics.

I think they make up names for this or that condition and then try to market drugs to sell for it.
