Numbers don't lie, and in this case they paint a very grim picture indeed. With a budget of almost $300 Million that Lucasfilm are prepared to admit to, Indy 5 has a virtually impossible hill to climb at the box office.

Maybe I’m getting old, but the more woke an actor is, the less I can sit back and enjoy their acting. I just see the woke idiot.

Disney has killed a ton of revered franchises. Hope they al end up dumpster diving to survive.

Tom Sizemore brings intensity to his roles.

Agreed. Cooper is woke. Which makes him an idiot.

That he is woke.

I would love to see a spin-off of Marion Ravenwood, like they did with Han Solo. Or a prequel focused on Indiana Jones’ father.

Eh, I’ll watch it before judging it. There’s way too much judgment being passed down on every piece of media these days, before stuff is even released. Hark! It’s woke! ...good grief give it a rest already. I love watching movies, and can’t resist the nostalgia of a new Indiana Jones film. I even enjoyed the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, even though according to popular opinion, I’m supposed to hate the movie and I’m dumb for liking it.

I’ll have fun watching it hopefully, while all you fuddy duddies sit there and rant online about how anti-woke you all are and how great your judgment is.

Only good part of Crystal skull was when Marion showed up, everyone cheered.

Actually on many of his reviews he does touch on the need of Hollywood to make things PC, not this one though. I agree. I took some of my grandkids to Tom N Jerry a few years ago. What a flop that movie was, awful. They were so intent on being woke and PC ….they had every ethnic, gender, sexual preference stereotyped. Then they had to throw all their socially acceptable moral references in so that they actually seemed to forget the idea was to amuse kids. The ones I took were 12,11, 5 and there were many smaller kids there. During the movie there was little laughter and when everyone left they were basically just somber. Amazing, never seen anything like it. Now that was a true example of wokeism destroying movies. “ Aside from a diverse cast and a bouncy soundtrack, Tom and Jerry brings nothing new to the table except a confusing plot for children…” from a review magazine. I’ll save my $15 on the Movie Ticket.

Almost all $300 million + movies are flopping.

No telling what WB spent on “The Flash” . So far it’s only earned $125 million world wide.

Which means it will be available for rent from my cable provider earlier. Once it gets down to $5.99 I can use award perks to watch it for $1.

Last Crusade was the 3rd IJ movie, he one with Sean Connery.
You’re thinking of Kingdom of the Crystal City.

Out of curiosity I looked it up. Harrison Ford is 80!

And when does this new film take place because the character backstory of Henry “Indiana” Jones was born in 1899 and fought as a Captain for the Belgian Army in WWI.

I no longer enjoy any modern super hero movie. Example:
Spiderman...way over-killed, like the zombie movies.
Thor: They cut his hair, smashed his hammer and destroyed Asgard. Whaat were they thinking?!
The 1st Transformer at least had a sort of plot, after that, it was just stuff exploding all over the screen. Even the ones w/ Mark Wablberg.
X-men and so forth... They just got weird.

It seems like they're all the same.

Cut from the same cookie cutter.

Robert Downey and Ryan Reynolds do bring the comedy, but even so, I can't take any more.
