The cis.org article is disheartening to read. I lived in Crosby for 7 years and have retired to Honduras. Funny isn’t it. Illegals are requesting asylum because….whatever…….and the expat community here is exploding.
Even more irritating is the hoops one has to jump through just to get one year temporary residency. It takes a lawyer, $2000 and 3-6 months. Not once was I offered cash, a free cell phone, an EBT card, and free transportation to a city of my choice with free housing upon arrival.
The weather is beautiful. Cost of living is reasonable. Government corruption is transparent so anyone can participate in it for minimal cost. Crime is way down since it was all exported north.
Time to get back to my cold Barena and fry-pork lunch.
