Brooks is a long-standing leftist idiot, but there’s no reason for him as a bar owner to alienate potential customers unless he was compensated to do so by Anheuser-Busch. All he wants is his name spelled correctly on his check.
Et tu Garth?
Barf Crooks................
He also said back then he was an all day everyday pot smoker.
Brokeback Brooks?
That explains his figure....................
Way to deliberately step on a rake, Garth.
Enjoy you shark-jumping moment, Mr Fonzie-in-a-cowboyhat.
Garth Brooks sucks anyway—it will be painless to boycott his music.
Same ingredients as the successful Bud Light "walk away", crappy product and tons of competition.
I worked with one of his buddies for a few years back in the early 90’s. I did not ever hear a crossword about GB the entire time the topic of GB came up.
GB’s sister, apparently was a lesbian. If I recall, she passed not so long ago, so I suspect GB has some sentimental capital wrapped up in this social issue.
Fame (and money, lots of money) screws up a person’s head.
What a strange comment. It's the principal function of bar management to make just those decisions. Who does he expect to make that decision for him? Anheuser-Busch?
He decides what they stock. The customers decide what they drink. If he's a good manager, those two interlock. If he's an a-hole, they don't. And the bar goes broke.
Don’t know about that. But he has a wife who is all about the LGBTQ+ stuff. Used to watch her cooking show, but got tired if all the gay guys she had on regularly as guests and how she made over them. And they were FLAMERS.
It was too bad to. Because her recipes were pretty tasty.
Nope.
That noise?
It ain’t the Thunder Rollin’.
It ain’t Wild Horses.
It ain’t the Rodeo, the Dance or even Two Pina Coladas...
It’s you Garth. The only noise I hear is you.
You’re just a A$$hole in a Low Place.
GuyI know said he was a great guy. Didn’t mean to imply otherwise. Only that he loved weed and set out to be a rock star but found his niche in country.
Well, I’ll never be attending a garth brooks event or buy any of his merchandise.
Businesses and performers must learn that it is absolutely fatal to their causes to make political endorsements or publicly take divisive political decisions. In doing so, they are making the statement that they are willing to pay the price.
In other words, why eliminate 35% or more of your potential customer base?
Good Brooks is nothing but a bleeding heart liberal.
He can buy all the Transbeer he wants.
I wonder how the sales are doing at his bar?
