Egyptian officials have banned Dutch archaeologist from the country after an exhibition was launched which portrays black American singers, comedians and musicians as the rulers of ancient Egypt...
However Dutch archaeologists have been banned from the Saqqara burial ground, near Cairo because of the portrays which have been described by as 'falsifying history.'...
The controversy comes after Netflix received backlash for their casting of black British actress Adele James as Cleopatra.
The show has been subject to 'blackwashing' claims after James was cast despite historical records showing Cleopatra was Macedonian-Greek.
The ban comes as a big blow to RMO who have been active in Sakkara since 1975.

What’s wrong with a little appropriation?
It would be rather easy to imagine Beyonce acting rude and haughty.
She’s been worshipped by her fans who accept her marketing as being based on truth vs a lot of hot Hollywood air.
Aside from that, when Beyonce speaks off script, her undereducated ignorance can be startling. Even Oprah is known to have said Beyonce sounds kind of dim if the topic is not performing for an audience. But what do the Dutch have to do with any of these misappropriations of culture?
First thing after reading such a title is to see if it’s from the Bee. Regrettably, it’s too often a matter of reality.
It’s about time Egypt finally did something. It has complained and had a lot of patience with this “We was kangs!” crap since the ‘80’s. Note the mention of Eddie Murphy who portrayed an Egyptian king in a Michael Jackson video.
Not that Egypt is generally looked at as an ‘African’ country, but it is located there...and with Uganda this week making it clear that they would rather starve than permit mutilation of their children - I hate to say it, but Africa is looking like the best hope for survival of Western values.
Apparently Egypt doesn’t believe in the woke bullchit.
Specifically, this meme about Egyptians being black arose out of the Black Power movement years ago. Taken up by the CRT crowd, which is in turn beloved of ignorant white liberals.

Pish-tosh. "Scientists" accuse one another all the time, which is as it should be. If science can't stand up to attacks, then it needs more evidence.
So, if the Egyptians were black, everyone knows that they enslaved the Jews to build the pyramids. I guess that means that black folks must pay the Jews reparations

“Scientists” do everything they can to protect their funding. Its bad enough in hard science. But in anthropology, which is barely a science in the first place, it reaches epic proportions.
