KYIV — During a public Zoom call with U.S. Congress, Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky emphatically claimed, "The Russians blew up our dam," while still holding a detonation plunger thingy commonly seen in cartoons when things blow up.
Zelensky then asked everyone to be on the lookout for the chief suspect: A short man wearing army green pajamas who was seen escaping the disaster on rocket skates. "It was probably Putin himself."
The dam disaster comes just months after a dripping-wet Zelensky pulled a Baltic Sea Bass out of his trousers and then announced that Russia had blown up the Nordstream gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea.

Was that the dam the ukranians used to cut off the water supply to Crimea (one of the key acts that provoked the war in the first place)? Just wondering
The blowing up of the Nordstream pipeline.
The Drone attack at the Kremlin.
The Dam attack.
It’s rather obvious, Ukraine wants more money sent to the off shore accounts.
No, it was the war criminal Vladimir Putin committing yet another crime against humanity and sensing the coming loss of the Crimea to a superior Ukranian army.
I think you left off the /sarcasm identifier unless that’s your true feelings
It’s funny ‘cause it’s true.
Another billion dollars will make him go away for a few days.
Thanks, I needed a laugh today and you delivered in spades.
Another billion dollars will make him go away for a few days.

Predictable timing - some Ukie power plant big wheel just stated they will need another billion dollars in aid ( over 5 years) as somehow the Dam destruction requires it….
News flash: Give us more money! The Russians ( we) blew our dam, please more money! When does America finally wake up? …..it now so, so obvious who is deceiving who.
No, there were several dam incidents perpetrated by Ukraine to deny water to Crimea after the Crimean vote to join the Russian Federation.
The one you are most likely thinking of, was a smaller canal that was blocked by Ukraine Military and Engineers with a much smaller, new-construction dam.
Russian supported Crimean Troops eventually responded and opened the canal, while Putin began construction of the Crimean Bridge.
The dam in question is much larger, and controlled a very large reservoir that supplied many Ukraine farms, villages and towns, as well as safe river traffic by controlling a proper water level.
The Ukraine Military conducted explosive projectile tests against the dam to determine if they could damage the Independent Oblasts without damaging Ukrainian farm production and water supply.
They determined that they could not, and discontinued the test shelling.
Until now.
Ha-ha, rocket skates! The writer must have enjoyed Futurama...
I don’t care about any of these people - Ukrainians, Russians, any of them. And yet, the US government has seen fit to dispense $75 billion dollars - some of it my tax money - to these people. Divide $75 billion by the number of US taxpayers - 158 million, and you get a figure of nearly $500 per taxpayer. Consider the fact that some of us pay a lot more in taxes than others do, and the odds are the Ukrainians are into me for a lot more than $500. And again - I do not care at all about these people. Why do they have their hands on my wallet?
But the caveat is the bill just gets added to our loan balance. An amount so large now that realistically it cannot ever be paid off. At some point down the road, we’ll have to default.
“At some point down the road, we’ll have to default.”
That ‘point’ is getting closer and closer, by the year.
Russians are quite capable of the familiar ‘scorched earth’ to thwart an attack by Ukraine. There’s no proof either way, that I’ve seen so far.
