Collies are my very favorite dog. We had a Sheltie and said when he went to heaven we would never have another dog. His loss broke our hearts. He was the best basketball player/soccer ball fetcher/and pal to my then young son. Andy was a rescue from across the Ohio River. Left in a park and thought dead. Sweetest guy on earth.

my son texted me a headline that San Angelo won the dubious award for the hottest town in Texas yesterday. Cold front today, only forecast to get to 104°.
I hope you got your A/C working!

Thanks for posting, pax.
The lovely looking black lady sitting beside Pollievre is my Member of Parliament, Dr. Leslyn Lewis. She is excellent - she knows what’s going on in the world. She is one of the many around the world who have joined Dr. Jordan Peterson’s ARC group, being launched as a counter group to the WEF.

Thanks for the warning. I think those are those huge stickers, that end up getting wrapped around hair. Actually the hair ends up wrapped around them. I feel sorry for dogs whose owners don’t check them out thoroughly after a walk. Cooper gets covered with anything since he is only about a foot tall.

“114”
yikes!
Is it early in the season for those kind of temperatures? I think I remember July being the hottest month in El paso. August was hot but it was intermittent because of monsoon season.
When do you head to wisconsin?

That’s interesting, we did the same thing when we had evaporative cooling. I think at most It could only drop the temperature by 20 or 25°.
I guess here we don’t get so hot that we have to pre-cool in the evening and mornings. The summers are much better than I thought. And the winters are a bit colder, but it is intermittent.

“I really wonder if CA is really red, but the Dems cheat and it stays “blue”.”
I’ve always lived in Kern County when in california, and it is solidly red. Probably because of the two bases. One Air Force and one navy. But the rest of the Interior could be solidly red as well, and Parts probably are. They would only need to switch the votes of a few counties I would think. The problem is the population is much denser on the coast which is quite blue. Maybe. Maybe it isn’t! Maybe they’ve been doing this Dominion thing for decades.
I remember the night of the 2020 election, it was bandied about that Trump even won california.

“......you can hardly tell it is parody.”
Last night I posted a link to an A-I debate between Trump & Biden. OTHER then ALL the foul language you would believe it is real. Their voices perfect. Their mouth movements perfect.
This is what is coming and WE WON’T KNOW THE REAL TRUTH OF THINGS.

Yes we did. Before our little desert area got irrigation we would have 110 degrees often in the summer. No air in cars either. We had the little wing windows.
My mother would put cold damp towel hanging over a fan to help cool us down.

LOL...When we first got him he was terrified to go outside to the bathroom. We carried him and even used an umbrella when it rained. He was very young and no telling what he had gone through. So skinny so I feed him eggs mixed with rice for around three weeks to get his stomach ready for other food. He stayed right beside my son who was always playing some kind of ball.
We had two cats at the time and they loved him and he liked them. When he went blind a cat would sleep next to him and walk him to the door to go outside and waited for him to come back in. Animals are gifts from God.
You have a good day. Its actually cooler here in the southern Indiana valley around the Ohio River. A welcomed relief and even a nice wind. Hope your area is also cool today.

No fixing A/C. Have to get a whole new unit at $16.000 on July 6th.
I am now confined to my Master bedroom with a room air they loaned me until the new unit gets installed.

I lived in the blue bay area. But at that time, there were still a lot of good conservatives, just outnumbered and many silent because the left are merciless. The problem is the majority of the population is on the the coast.
