The AB ImBev doard is probably saying: "What was that saying? Get woke...and something I can't remember. Does anyone remember?"

the recent decline in their stock is very encouraging....momentum for the decline seems to be sustained, down abou 3% today
It’s still way above where it was a year ago, but....pretty soon, if the trend continues, it’s goinna start to get real

“My guess is that ordering or drinking in public a Bud Light, or even a Budweiser or other identifiable sister brand, subjects a person to mockery.”
Bingo. The other key factor here is that beer drinkers have a lot of brand loyalty. It takes a lot to make them switch, but once they do, it will take a lot more to make them switch back.

I’m watching for them to begin selling assets. The wounds so far are limited to the flesh. We need to know when to go for the the Honey Badger areas.

Folks gotta stop buying other Anheuser-Busch brands as well, like Modelo, otherwise the boycott is all for naught.

Once cursed by the Evil Eye, it only gets worse. Fewer and fewer will want to be seen guzzling that brew.

The decision by associate Bud Light with Dylan Mulvaney came at the WORST time possible: just a few months before Pride Month. Now, every company and organizaiton that have ties to the LGBTQ+ movement is being very closely scrutinized, and taken down Anheuser-Busch InBev, Target, North Face and Kohl's. Even LGBTQ+ friendly companies like Apple and Starbucks have been keeping their marketing efforts relatively low key in recent weeks; note Apple keeping it pretty quiet with their release of the Pride watch bands for the Apple Watch.

A friend of ours is in sales for a local beer distributor. I feel bad for him and the other 200 people who work for the company. They had nothing to do with this and they’re getting hammered.
The entire senior leadership or AB should be summarily fired along with anyone who has a degree in Marketing.

Bud Light has become a mainstream joke.
Looking back at Coors Zima beer catastrophe, once widespread public opinions are set, it is next to impossible to salvage sales.
In Coors case, Zima became seen as a woman’s drink. Coors was marketing to men and spent a lot of money trying to counter that trend. It failed.
I doubt you can walk into most bars and order a Bud Light without an offhand comment occurring. Bud Light has a reputation now.

So much for the notion that 56 was a sustainable floor. Now some analysts are talking 50. When solid Memorial Day weekend sales numbers come it, even that might be optimistic.
