"Denmark's very strict Law on Personal Names is in place to protect children from having odd names that suit their parents' fancy. To do this, parents can choose from a list of 7,000 pre-approved names, some for girls, some for boys."
If she were in Kalifornia, she could steal in increments of $900 with little or no concern about the consequences. She could claim African ancestry and reparations.

Lacking impulse control, she could not get by on a mere $900.00 per day.
I knew a woman that stole $500K from her employer and was caught.
Her husband had to divorce her so they wouldn’t lose their home and savings.
She used a lot of the money to fund a lavish wedding for her only daughter and a lot of major home improvements.
She spent 5+ years in a local Women’s Prison - which, I have heard, is not a very nice place to be. She was intelligent and well educated (she was at the upper levels of Management when she started stealing) so tutored many of the uneducated there, and was given a lot of ‘freedom.’ She ended up in a very serious car wreck ferrying prisoners around, breaking her back and a leg. Laid up for months on end.
He husband has stuck by her though has NOT re-married her, and her kids want nothing to do with her. Her daughter was MORTIFIED to find out what her mother did.
I’m not exaggerating when I say if you had met her, you’d have thought she was The Real Deal. Gorgeous, tall and thin, classy, always well dressed and beauty-shop groomed, well-spoken, charming. I thought (and still do) the world of her husband. I worked for him.
She had to pay back the $500K and then some. She is a FELON and cannot work in any capacity that involves money. Ever. Can’t even be a Cashier at a gas station.
Way to ruin your otherwise ‘perfect’ life, Lady!

“I knew a woman that stole $500K from her employer and was caught.”
I know someone that did much the same a few decades ago. I went to school with her from grade K-12 and she is from a prominent local family. She spent several years in prison and then returned to the county. She finally found a job but never at the career level she previously enjoyed.

Too many weddings are just stupid crazy expensive and usually come on top of the college costs.
Our children went easy on the costs.
They created a design and selected the fabric,
I borrowed a nice Babylock embroidery machine and produced mass quantities of placemats and table runners with names a verse and date.
I ran through a few KING CONES of thread!
When visiting family and friends, I still see them used!!!
I am not a Geneticist, but I am convinced we inherit different latencies for different characteristics. Some are born to be builders, doctors, athletes, soldiers, alcoholics, comedians, managers, gigalos, etc.
We dont have to end up catering to a certain tendency, but the lucky ones learn to manage it so the trait won’t ruin or dominate their lives.
Adopted people are often quietly aware of this.

I live in the area, and we have the three networks represented here (ABC NBC CBS) and the link that Diana put up is the only local news station covering this story. Maybe the 10:00 news will be different.
Curious….
Yeah. My wife thought she was Laotian or Korean, but at the link they play an inset video with the story. Mug shot. She’s not either.
I just don’t understand how people think they’re going to get away with this stuff. They ALWAYS get caught.

Marijuana use tends to diminish impulse control.
“Impulsive Behavior
Although impulsive behavior is a pre-existing personality trait that may promote the usage of drugs, consuming cannabis may result in behavioral changes including alterations of impulsivity”

From what I hear, people think they have the perfect system to steal or embezzle. And they may get away with some small amounts of theft.
I’ve worked with people who investigate these sorts of crimes. And a common denominator, is that the perpetrators eventually get greedy, steal larger and larger amounts, and think they have it all figured out, and that they will evade internal controls and audits.
Generally, they start out small, and think because they got away with it a few times, they can get away with it for bigger amounts. Eventually they get caught.
I worked at an insurance company where two employees in the span of about a year were caught filing false claims to the tune of around $100k each if I recall correctly.
First one, they let her cash out her 401k to pay it back and was terminated with no jail time. Second lady, the bank was pushing hard for charges. The story going around was she said if she wasn’t allowed to pay it back, she was going public with the information about the first lady. They let her off the hook. I worked with her son for a couple more years thinking I don’t know if I could have stayed there.
is that supposed to be Passion? Egads.

It appears that Ms. Paa’Shion Mhoon, age 33, predates readily available spell-check apps.
But I’m certain it seemed like a good thing at that time.
maybe her parents ( her mom!!!) were drunk and saddled her with that name.

I was attempting to be po’light and not directly besmirch anyone.
The facts are apparent.
