The dramatic moment a 15-year-old boy was arrested after a school shooting has been captured on body cam footage.
Western Australia Police released the footage following a school shooting in Perth’s northern fringes.
Three shots were fired from a rifle at Atlantis Beach Baptist College in Two Rocks but no one was injured.
A 15-year-old boy was charged with several offenses on Thursday afternoon.

That was not a “tackle”.
The suspect was standing still with his arms in the air next to the patrol car and they put him on the ground and disarmed him.
Totally misleading headline.
Guns aren’t banned in Australia. They just have common sense gun laws that prevent all indiscriminate shootings.
Similar to Chicago laws?? (sarc)
Meanwhile, the Premier of Western Australia said the incident “could have been so much worse” while acknowledging there are “too many guns” in his state.Remember when gun control groups say "only those nasty assault weapons need to be banned," realize that what they really mean is "we will ban the assault weapons first. When they're all gone, then we'll go after the others."
Mark McGowan toured the school on Thursday morning, which was in lockdown almost 24 hours earlier.
McGowan said it was a dramatic event for the school, praising staff, students, and responding police.
“When something completely unexpected took place, they acted appropriately … it was traumatic, and no doubt will have some lasting impacts on those involved,” he said.
“You almost never think this would happen here … in Western Australia, in Two Rocks of all places … it’s the kind of thing you see on television in the United States.
“We are moving as quickly as we can to dramatically reform our state’s gun laws … there are 360,000 guns in Western Australia; that’s way too many.
“A range of measures will be taken later this year to reform gun laws, but that’s secondary to what’s happened.”
Sweeping reforms to the state’s gun laws had already been announced in April, cracking down on 56 types of firearm and 19 types of ammunition which are currently legal in WA.
The Premier touted those proposed changes as being “the toughest gun laws in Australia”.
But McGowan ruled out beefing up security at the state’s public schools.
“We have 900 public schools … you can’t have security, you can’t have them armed, at every school,” he said.
Clearly Western Australia isn't content with banning all semi-auto rifles and shotguns, banning pump and lever action shotguns, and banning handguns, now they want to ban even more lever action and bolt action rifles, and ban certain types of ammunition.
Western Australia?
That has to be a suburb of Chicago or Philly or LA, because gun violence ONLY happens in the US.

“They just have common sense gun laws...”
Tell us you jest!🤔

That is not a .223 casing.
Police said one of his rifles was a .243, conveniently omitting whether it was a .243 Winchester, .243 WSSM, .240 Whby, .24 Nosler, or any of the other 15 or so commercial centerfire rifle cartridges that use a bullet of 0.243" diameter, but my guess would be .243 Winchester.
Ever since the hoplophobes have contracted AR-15-itis, I've been saying that some day someone intent on becoming infamous as a child murderer is going to walk into a day care with a .300 WinMag. After that, they're going to be referring to the era when Mass Murderer Wanna-Bees only used .223s as "The Good-Old Days."
This guy got close, and I will take no joy in it when it does, but I guarantee you it's coming.
Well, maybe just a little bit.
