As long as we let these people hide behind the clinical word "abortion", society as a whole will never see it for the heinous, brutal and cruel crime that it is. We are NOT talking about getting your appendix removed here. And it's not a discussion about "reproductive rights." When arguing with someone about this (or anything else really), it is always critical to define terms off the bat. Don't accept their terms and don't go easy on them. Describe it in detail and if they are especially obtuse, offer to show them pictures. If you go after it with kid gloves or accept their terms, you are wasting your time.
