MUST WATCH đ¨
Fox & Friends hosts review Ron DeSantisâ recent trip to Iowa, calling it âunbelievably underwhelmingâ and saying there was âlittle energyâ.
âI heard he was having a rally⌠It just didnât feel like a RALLY the way a Trump rally would. It felt more like a speech.â pic.twitter.com/UF9fTIqUDJâ Alex Sheppard đşđ¸ (@NotAlexSheppard) May 14, 2023
The only people who seem to be claiming âDeSantisâ trip to Iowa was a successâ are on DeSantisâ payroll.@PeteHegseth said âan appearance like this doesnât make people think heâs the guy who can take Trump.â He also said it was an underwhelming trip,

How much of that 100 million did Jeb get to keep? I could use some of that not helping much about now.
I donât know election money law.
i thought iowa had tornado warnings
didnt Trump cancel his?
Was DeSantis already there or did he fly in that day?
Even more so, since the Faux News CEO, Murdoch wants to make Trump a non person.
So yes the clip shows three F&F patriots miraculously going against their bosses wishes and commenting about what a dud DeSantis was.
Maybe if he had a line of guacamole bowls.
The Iowa primaries are still 7 months away and the election 17 months away. At this point the only ones fired up are the politicians.

As usual it appears, another nevertrump/desantis supporter misrepresents or lies about something... but that seems to be common with them, which may be why they want desantis, who also lies about things, to be president.
Trump was to speak to a crowd at Lauridsen Amphitheater at Water Works Park in Des Moines at 7 p.m.
The National Weather Service had issued a tornado watch for counties stretching from northwestern Iowa to far southeastern Iowa, including Polk County, extending until 7 p.m. Saturday.
Donald Trump cancels Des Moines rally, citing possible severe weather
But then again, desantis supporters would probably like to have seen thousands of Trump supporters waiting for Trump to appear, to be in the path of a tornado, just for the bad p.r. it would cause.
Ron is a great man IMHO. He kept the covid boot off of America’s neck almost single handed.
Rachel Campos-Duffy is so hot!
OMG! The Trump shills on Fox are underwhelmed by DeSantis? Well that’s it then I will cross him off and vote for the non politician trump who couldn’t get shit done with his two year republican majority so did everything by EO which Brandon erased day one and rubber stamped every Pelosi rotten budget without exercising a single G-damned veto!
I believe that Fox News is pushing the food fight for next year for ratings in lieu of any serious policy discussion/changes. This is part of the reason that Carlson was let go; he questioned too many things and was not down with the company line. Of course, the other, anti-American side is so completely off the reservation that no comment is necessary.
He’s a crappy public speaker. Great message, poor delivery.
The little I saw, clips on the news, DeSantis was in a room. Did they every show who was in the room with him?
Was he speaking at some arena at Iowa or Iowa State? And was the place packed?
 | Hey Mass 55th. I understand your frustration with TV news. At least commenting on FRee Republic keeps your debating and American way-of-thinking powder dry. Speaking of gun powder, reading your user name, I'm reminded of the terrific 1989 film, Glory, that popularized the bravery of the 54th Massachusetts during the Civil War. One final thought for you is my Dad's comment after experiencing D-Day Normandy and D-Day Okinawa as a gunner's mate aboard LST 520. He told us kids, "If you say you weren't scared, you weren't there." And that comment seems to echo your tag line. All the best... |
When it comes to charisma and energy, he’s an underwhelming person and he can’t help it. (Like grace, either you have it or you don’t.) It would be hard to upstage Trump in that area.
He’s accomplishing good things in his state and probably is the few conservative successful governors int he country. And he’s probably a decent person, but you have to wonder when considering the contingent that is supporting him because, generally, they’re NOT decent people. My gut tells me he’s easily manipulated and we don’t need that crap when our country is circling the bowl.
He’ll have four more years to hone skills to make him more attractive to the voters. I don’t think he’ll officially announce for 2024. Maybe I’m wrong.
Had a chance to read your Profile. There are some terrific quotes there. Thanks for this.
I particularly liked the quote by John F. Kennedy:
I like to see quotes of JFK because he was a democrat and I've got a bunch of Democrat (some "woke") relatives in Massachusetts who have shut off rational thought when it comes to public policy and the Constitution.
Here's another JFK quotes that echoes well in our time of untrustworthy con-artists who call themselves journalists:
Too often we hold fast to the cliches of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought."
Governor DeSantis’ not-so-stealth campaign seems to be focused on trolling President Trump.
Thanks for your comment. Your father was a hero. I was rereading some of my brother's letters from Vietnam (66-67), the other night. Before he got off the plane that took him there...he admitted to being scared too, and said "I hope the shit in my pants doesn't slow me down." As a kid, all he had wanted to do was be a soldier, so he enlisted during the war, and ended up in Nam. He said that no matter what happened to him over there, he would at least feel like he had done the right thing. He turned when he was over there...was the oldest man in his platoon. He died way too young at the age of 51 in 1995.
Regarding the 54th and 55th Mass. A lot of people don't know there was a sister regiment to the 54th. It was formed from the overflow of men who had showed up to enlist in the 54th. When Shaw and the 54th were storming Fort Wagner on Morris Island in July 1863, the 55th was leaving Boston for the South. They would end up in the same area of S.C., camped on Folly Island, S.C., and would fight together at different points in the war. I did several years of research on both units, but focused on the 55th, because it was mostly unknown. There was also a black unmounted Cavalry unit, the 5th Massachusetts Cavalry. Toward the end of the war, they were sent to serve at Point Lookout prison in Maryland.
