Bud Light's hangover from hell: Sales figures for America's once-favorite beer reveal how EVERY region in U.S. has turned its back since the Dylan Mulvaney tie-up

New figures reveal that Bud Light sales have plummeted in every US region in the wake of their disastrous partnership with Dylan Mulvaney.

America's flagship beer brand has been sent into a steep decline after they used the controversial trans influencer, 26, to promote the beverage.

Data from Beer Business Daily showed that the US's number one brand has fallen in every region of the country.

Sales in the Rocky Mountains dipped the most significantly, down by 29 percent, with the South Atlantic, West North Central and East South Central all dropping 25 percent.

The Tumbleweed, a cowboy bar in Wyoming – in the Rocky Mountains region – ditched Bud Light after the controversy – instead plumping for Guinness.

Country singer Travis Tritt, who is from Georgia, in the South Atlantic region, announced that he would be banning all Anheuser-Busch products from his tour bus over the partnership.

Locals in Marietta, Georgia, told DailyMail.com that they were switching from their usual drink of Bud Light to Coors Light, according to bartenders – who say the impact was 'immediate'.

Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis was also quick to switch from the brand, saying: 'Why would anyone drink BudLight?'

The 2024 hopeful was spotted drinking Budweiser previously, another brand under the Anheuser-Busch umbrella, but has since renounced the brand altogether and switched to drinking Guinness.

Serious question..

All of the stories I see are saying Bud light sales down @15-30%.

With all this press and all of the negative coverage. How is it ONLY down 15-30%.

Who and Where are they still getting 70-85% of the bud light business from?

My guess would be distibutors and sports venues still contracted. But remember the boycott started right at the beginning of Q2. Wait until the news come out in early July, about sales in Q2. They will be devastating and it’ll be right in the middle of summer plus you got college/NFL football seasons coming up.

i don’t think the decline is 100% due to the Dylan Mulvany idiocy.

When the video from alissa heinerscheid, the VP for Bud Light surfaced with her complaining about the fratty out of touch humor of Bud Light, that was the anchor to really crush the sales.

The original Dylan Mulvany can was bad, but the follow on commments by Bud Light Executives only accelerated the decline.

Coca Cola has been putting up billboards in the Mid-Cities area between Dallas and Fort Worth that are very old school, Norman Rockwell style. I am quite surprised that they are going back to 1950s-1960s style artwork.

*** Carlos Laboy, a managing director at HSBC’s global beverage sector, downgraded the stock of Anheuser-Busch InBev to a hold status. It means that investors should not buy or sell shares of the company.***

Uh, if you wanted your money out of this brand, you should’ve dumped it before now.

I stopped drinking Woca Cola after having been a daily drinker for almost 50 years when they came out against election integrity laws and when they had a training video telling their employees to be “less White”.

Again, it’s not Bud Light being protested. It’s a 2023 version of the Boston Tea Party. It’s much bigger than tea or beer.

Yes, sorry, I didn’t make its own thread. Hopefully someone will post it separately. I hope it doesn’t detract from this thread.

I thought cowboys drank Coors beer. Years ago, in northern Arizona, a Coors sign in a bar window was an indication that it was a watering hole for cowboys.

“Who and Where are they still getting 70-85% of the bud light business from?”

a) lefties will still buy it

b) many stadiums and other venues have concession contracts with Budweiser, and so that’s the only thing you can buy if you go to a concert, sporting event, etc

I agree. For me it’s much more than Bud Light or Budweiser. It’s ALL the AB-InBev brands.

Here’s the list again for anyone who’s unaware of how vast their empire is.

I dropped most soft drinks years before the "be less white" controversy because I did not like the choice of sweeteners being either high fructose corn syrup or NutraSweet. I have engaged in long term boycotts of Gillette after its "toxic masculinity" campaign, major league sports due to their caving into BLM/Antifa terrorism, Chick-fil-a for its faux Christian caving into the same narrative, and Target for its pro-pervert policies.

I don't know what Coca-Cola sales are doing recently, but their reversion to billboards invoking the era of America's peak era may be telling. At least I hope so.
