Most networks are going to start the telecast at about 5am Eastern time. PBS will start much earlier, simulcasting the BBC.

I agree. Had to turn of Fox because all they did was gab and BBC is doing an excellent job.

I really don’t get that. I’m not keen on any of the war-profiting, depopulationist royal family, with Charles clearly part of that. But his abiding love and final devotion to Camilla is IMO his most human and redeeming quality.
He loved her from the start, but opted to go for the prettier, more shallow Diana out of his sense of obligation to his role. That was clearly a mistake. But he eventually went as he should have from the start, despite the awkwardness of it all.
Why would I watch? I’m an American.

Technically, if a man lusts in his heart for a woman, he is committing adultery. Chaz’s heart has always been with Camilla.
I’m also an American, and Yeshua is my True King.
That being said, I’m also a sucker for history, and this is rife with it.

That is the fundamental point of the coronation. Charles was submissive as he was first reminded that the job is to serve, not be served. The pledges are for the monarch to serve, not rule. There are constant reminders that the new king serves God not himself.
The law the king is bound to uphold is that of the Christian faith, then the established customs, laws and precedents of the nation. He is not part of the government of the day, nor does he make new law.
The Bible presented for the gospel reading is over 1300 years old.

I woke up in the middle of the night and had trouble getting back to sleep. I turned that on and just awakened for the day!
After Charles dons the gold robe, he is presented with the sword, followed by the bracelets of sincerity and wisdom.
If I wanted to see a horse face on TV, I’d watch the Kentucky Derby later this afternoon.
Charles receives the orb, followed by the ring and glove, then royal sceptre and rod of equity.
