The Fox News Feud With Tucker Carlson Is About to Get Ugly (Fox has "oppo" file on Tucker)
PJ Media ^ | 4/29/2023 | Matt Margolis

It looks like things may get really messy between Tucker Carlson and Fox News.

Apparently, Fox News has created a secret “oppo file” on Carlson, just in case he decides to take any legal action against them. According to a report from Rolling Stone, eight individuals at Fox News confirmed the existence of the file, which could be used to tarnish Carlson’s reputation if he doesn’t play nice after separating from the network.

“The file includes internal complaints regarding workplace conduct, disparaging comments about management and colleagues, and allegations that the now-former prime-time host created a toxic work environment, three of the sources say,” the pop culture rag claims. It points out that “Carlson is currently facing a lawsuit from a former senior booking producer, Abby Grossberg, alleging a toxic and misogynist workplace environment. The lawsuit details repeated instances of misogynist behavior at the network, including frequent lewd and sexual discussions of female guests and public figures.…”

According to the lawsuit filed by Grossberg, she was subjected to a toxic work environment that perpetuated sexist stereotypes, discriminated against religious minorities and their customs, and showed little concern for individuals dealing with mental health issues. Fox has denied the allegations, stating that the accusations lacked merit.

As we previously reported here at PJ Media, Grossberg’s lawsuit is questionable, as it has been confirmed that she never actually met Carlson in person. Between Rolling Stone‘s credibility issues and the fact that Fox News has denied the allegations of Grossberg’s lawsuit, it’s hard to reconcile the magazine’s claims.

Abby, your 15 minutes are about up.
Is Fox about to go broke like the NFL has?

Does Tucker(rhymes with) have the same gonads as Trump? We’ll find out.

He’s got plenty of money and doesn’t need any more. Trump puts himself out there just like most democrats. We don’t so the ball is in Tuckers’ court. I think he’ll wilt.

So, Fox isn’t above blackmail and coercion ever since they put Ryan on the board?

“Apparently, Fox News has created a secret “oppo file” on Carlson, just in case he decides to take any legal action against them.”

In every large and even small corporation, the ownership or board has a file on every high profile employee and have that file just in case that someday the two parties find themselves faced off in a courtroom.

Anyone who can’t figure out this neurotic woman was a Rupert plant to rid his channel of Tucker isn’t paying attention.

None of that sounds bad
Grossberg never even met Tucker
Also when I hear someone say “toxic” unless it’s referring to “waste” I tend to dismiss it as liberal crybullying.
Plus why would I believe Fox News ?

They do that they are NO different than the democrat party and they will show EVERYONE that they were a giant farce from day 1..a real shame, my grandmother loved fox news, every time we went to her house or she came to ours she would want to watch fox news, she’d watch the same broadcast over and over she just enjoyed it, now look at how far down the drain its gone

And the “oppo” research does not have to be anything verifiable or even plausible. Just the suspicion is enough for actionable allegations to proceed.

And that is just what the Fox News Powers That Be has, allegations. Easy to make, easy to hurl, and if they vanish in the thin air, always available for reintroduction.

This is lawfare, litigation not for the sake of determining right or wrong, or even legal or illegal, but for tying up time and resources for the defendant.

I think the liability to Fox to release disparaging information on a employee would be serious constraint. I suspect the real discussion is the severance package--remaining $60 million on contract (at least that's what I read and saw as already agreed to), plus any severance or other payouts. Probably the biggest sticking point will be if Fox insists on Tucker being benched for the next three years while his contract runs out or if he is released and can take up new work immediately.

Would be funny if they benched him, paid him out for the next three years and he did a weekly Twitter broadcast that outranked Fox during that same timeslot.

The key line in this lawsuit: "Grossberg’s lawsuit is questionable, as it has been confirmed that she never actually met Carlson in person."

Anything negative on Tucker which is real would have been out already in this leftist world.

So this is bogus.

And what juicy info might Tucker know about Fox and it’s execs, hmmmm? If they want to give him the biggest possible platform, this is how to do it. “Dirty Laundry”

All of the speculation that Tucker is somehow silenced is nonsense.

Tucker will find legal closure with Fox and go on to do quite well....and NOT be silenced through the 2024 election cycle.

I suspect the Democrats have an “oppo” file on Murdoch thus
demanding the firing of the most popular host in history.

I’m sure Tucker doesn’t have the same kind of file on people and events at Fox. /sarc
