Nearly two years into negotiations and about two months after he made a trade request, Jackson and the Ravens agreed to terms Thursday on a five-year contract, the team announced Thursday.
The deal is worth $260 million, according to NFL Network, making Jackson the new highest-paid player in NFL history after Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts’ short reign.
A reported $185 million of that is guaranteed, according to Josina Anderson.

According to other articles the agents maximum cut is 3% which is a lot less than I would have expected.

I don’t know why but he reminds me of the quarterback from San fran. I don’t think he is as good as he thinks. One good hit and he will be on injured reserve again.
Lamar’s injuries have come when he was in the pocket. He is actually pretty stout and elusive when running the ball. The question is whether he will slow down to the point where he starts taking more hits when running. Father time is undefeated. Any QB can get hurt in the pocket.
He is better than Kaepernick. I don’t think he is in the current Top 3 QBs in the league, but he is in the Top 7, with the potential to be Top 3. He is also still relatively young coming into the league at 21.
I thought he’d end up playing on the tag.
