When I was a teen boys and girls had ears pierced all the time.

Not one single girl wanted to cut off her tits, and not one single boy wanted to cut off his dick. Nor was it allowed to my knowledge.

Just saying.

Five cops busting into a house over a pierced ear?? How was this justified ever? Is there some custody battle going on over the teenager, and the police chief is playing White Knight for her? Absolutely bonkers, and scary, knowing American police have now lowered their standards of procedure to 3rd World levels.

His son, who films the encounter, yells at the police at one point: 'I wanted my ears pierced!'

Sounds like a fag, but that's none of my business.

Piercing, be it ears, nose, nipples cheeks, tongue or.....aah.... is a barbaric custom.

Marks the victim as a more primitive form of life. Like tattooing.

OK, some of my forebears were Puritans. Not ashamed of that.

an arrest warrant, issued by the prosecuting attorney
I was under the impression a warrant had to be issued by a judge. Someone familiar with the law, please clarify?

There are two exception to the Arkansas Law...one is piercing earlobes. I see a lawsuit in their future...

It was the drunken chokehold and abuse.

Well, if the kid wanted to transition, they certainly would have encouraged that.

But piercing a child’s ear?!?!?!?!

What’s this world coming to when parents can make those kind of decision like that themselves?

He was overheard saying ...... daddy was drunk ... chokehold ..

Waaay more to the story than revealed. Some purely dysfunctional family dynamics at work.

The prelim for this felony will be interesting. I wonder if the other student who overheard something will be located and put on the stand?

There's also an issue as to whether they can enter the home without a search warrant. In some states an arrest warrant is not enough.

I would also add that if the allegation that the piercing was forced, CPS would take the kid and the father would be facing more than just the licensure charge.

“He was overheard saying his father was drunk and put him in a chokehold, then ‘shoved the piercing in his ear,’ according to the police.”

Ah, well, fatherly love comes in many strange forms.

Good thing it wasn’t the FBI...they would have had at least 20 agents. If the dad had been his teacher there wouldn’t be a problem.

I saw this yesterday. Anyone who thinks the police are "on our side" is delusional. These people are thugs and will do anything they are told to do. We saw it during the scamdemic. This is just another example.
