At the end of the day ... since it’s been missed by so many ... Pres Trump, like him or not, is a master at getting free press.

He says something off the wall, everyone gobbles it up. Doesn’t matter what he says.

Recently, he says that he agrees with Steube and Crenshaw about troops in Mexico to go after the Cartels. And people are taking him seriously.

He knows he can’t send troops into Mexico. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a bona fide moron.

But, he does know how to bring up something like that to keep focus on the border, the cartels, the drugs and the folks dying from overdoses. All things that the MSM and the current administration don’t want you to talk about.

All it’ll take is for one person in the current administration to publicly challenge Pres Trump’s statement and it’s game on. He will make them look like the fools they are with his rebuttals.

Amen. It’s amazing how many Freepers can’t or refuse to see the DeSantis/establishment connections.

If either one of these guys want to win .. shouldn’t they be in their perspective basements?

Because they are ‘trans’ republicans.. they demand what will never be and will turn over to the demonic left all that is good.. These ‘trans’ republicans helped the accursed left steal a presidential election.. the unholy leftists cannot win elections, they steal them with the aid of supposed ‘red’ states
. These President Trump haters remind me of that bunch freed from slavery that God brought out of Egypt that itched whined and moaned to go back to pharaoh..

Will some of you unholy people explain how ‘Brandon’ and Saint Desantis can be members of the same church? And throw in the wicked witch pewlouise? Seriously? As it is Written one cannot serve two masters..

I have a small question. If Ron DeSantis is doing so bad why is Donald Trump always attacking him, obsessing on him?

PS I also notice he never says exactly WHAT Ron DeSantis has done that is so bad.

Just a couple of things I’ve noticed.

Doesn’t really matter because Trump won’t win in 2024. He has always been awful at picking people, and he backed this numbskull:

“ Ronna McDaniel Calls for GOP to Embrace Early Voting in ‘Every Republican Campaign’”

She seems to think that the Dems success has been due to legitimate voting efforts. She is really clueless, and Trump must be, too.

If Trump is so inevitable as some here claim than DeSantis should be a nonissue.

It is.

Just say the best man win and then proceed to crush him.

That is exactly how I feel.

No need to throw a tantrum unless he actually is afraid of DeSantis.

That is essentially what you did re Trump. I simply mirrored what you did.

No disagreements regarding questionable recruiting. But the incompetent Jeff Sessions for example was a complete surprise. Had he done his job, the Rat shenanigans may have been curbed early on.

Pres. Trump deliberately chose to use the slur itself instead of simply saying something like “I would never call Gov. DeSantis an Italian slur.” He’s done it before with other people and other words. This way he can claim “plausible deniability”, although some can see right through his tactics. He wants the insults he uses, whether he’s the original source or not, to become catchphrases. And it seems to be working even here.

How quickly people forget how readily President Trump can consume all the publicity oxygen in a news cycle.

You're right qaz! Remember Ted Cruz? The guy was born with a silver spoon in this mouth. Great debater and speaker.

But he couldn't hold a candle to Donald Trump. And it all boils down to Trump's maturity/experience as a leader of people in business, the press, and on the television stage. He cannot be matched. DeSantis is doing some good things in Florida, but in the end I don't know how a 40-something lawyer who never operated a business can step up and gain the experience necessary to lead at a higher level.

Musk has in a similar position -- and he's also on the attack against San Francisco's foolish government.

And it's funny how We the People can instantly recognize someone who has the magnetism, courage, and "right stuff".

Emerson claimed that George Washington had that quality...

I’m not so sure. The rats were definitely surprised to see the “big, blue wall” come crashing down in 2016, and I think they decided to never let that happen again.

In 2018, using Cali as a test pod, they instituted their new victory plan of ballot collection rather than get out the vote efforts. This proved successful in turning the House blue by unseating many Republican Reps. They have continued to improve since. They took the WH in 2020, and built a dam to break the Red Wave in 2022.

When are the Reps going to create their own ballot harvesting operations capable of breaching the new wall?

Ronna and Trump continue to party like it’s 1999.

Pres. Trump deliberately chose to use the slur itself instead of simply saying something like “I would never call Gov. DeSantis an Italian slur.”

Yet on post #34, in this very thread, there you are saying the same supposed "slur" word.

skr:

You did exactly what Trump did. You're being hypocritical.

As a native New Yorker in the real estate/construction business, Pres. Trump would be highly unlikely to not know this.

I'm a native NYer and my heritage is 50% Italian. I have never heard of "meatball' being an ethnic slur word. Never!

It’s not for plausible deniability. It’s a light joke.

You make a good point, but you’re talking about the past. I’m talking about the future.

A serious run for the presidency is a full-time job (unless your name is Biden).

Pres. Trump’s campaign tactics are clear when he makes a “light joke” like that. He used them before, he’s using them now, and he will continue to use them. Ethnic slurs do not make good joke material. It’s not that they harm those they’re directed at, they are much more harmful to those who use them.

It was a deliberate slur that Trump wanted to become viral. Perhaps he thought people would confuse it with “meathead” from Archie Bunker. I will give Pres. Trump that much of the benefit of a doubt. However, only older people will understand that reference.

It was never a joke and it was never meant to be one as Trump used it. He’s a manipulator; that’s how he rolls. I can understand that, as he is in real estate, and salesmanship is all about persuasion/manipulation, much like politics.

So, you wouldn’t mind our next President being someone whose agenda is to finish destroying our country, as long as you didn’t consider him/her “a bully”.

That’s what it boils down to.
