AI is certainly artificial, but there is nothing “intelligent” about it.

When asked if the hallucination problem will be solved in the future, Pichai noted “it’s a matter of intense debate,” Ask yourself if you dare. What if the machines are not hallucinating.
What if instead it is the human race which have had their hearts hardened, history rewritten, and brain cells spiked ?

they sometimes make stuff upAI is a lie. What they are building is a tool to brainwash humanity on the individual level. That means, they believe they can make a Lie into the Truth. That will never happen, with the Truth the pieces always fit, with a LIE they never will.
God is laughing at them. Computers can never create.
Finding a pattern in apparent chaos is the highest form of creativity.
Creating the pattern is God's perview.

As a systems analyst and software engineer, I heard about 'artificial intelligence' over 40 years ago. Back then, I failed to see or detect any 'intelligence' with the programs or algorithms. I still don't see it, not even in any of the chatAI systems or algorithms. Systems architects are having a whale of a good time trying to convince others, especially the tech-ignorant, that there is something to worry about with this 'new' tech. Far from it. But, people scare easy and it's good marketing that popularizes the technology and brings in funding for more research.
One thing for sure, it's not 'artificial intelligence' since, all the intelligence that goes into it, is from the people that programmed those systems.

General AI will never work because it will inevitably make tons of errors, yet be so complex that no human, or even team of humans, could possibly know everything that it is doing. The more complex the software gets, the more it becomes a black box that no one can reasonably have confidence in.
When Siri goofs up when you ask it for sports scores, that’s one thing, but when some all-powerful AI mistakenly decides that you have no money in your account, or has a “hallucination” and tells military commanders that hundreds of enemy ICBMs are inbound when there is nothing there, that’s quite a different problem.

When asked if the hallucination problem will be solved in the future, Pichai noted “it’s a matter of intense debate,” Well there are two paths to fix it.
1) Stop filling it full of woke BS.
2) Stop feeding it magic mushrooms.
See tag line.

Maybe they’re hallucinating because of the delusions the SJW programmers code into them.
