Why did they ship my tank via the Christopher Columbus Transcontinental Highway?

Not the kind of thing you’d like to leave parked and unattended. Those explosive reactive armor panels could be put to some pretty nefarious use by somebody knowing what to do with them.

If it belongs to the military and not some collector, the final destination is likely Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. They have all kinds of stuff like that there to study and find strengths and weaknesses.
I live near there. There was a huge explosion today that shook my house 3-4 miles away. Just another test.
It’s very common to see flatbeds with obvious military vehicles but they’re almost always covered with shrink wrap.

There is a Russian integrated air defense system (IADS) called Pansyr (or Pansir). The UAE purchased some for the faction in Libya they back. They were getting popped off with some regularity. Someone who had control of a couple of them decided he would rather have two-million dollars in a Swiss bank account than a missile magnet. A C-5 flew in and picked them up, flew them to Ramstein AFB, thence to the United States.
My guess is that that particular T-90 is headed to a turntable on a test range at Sandia National Laboratories. Call it a hunch.

One owner, low mileage, only driven to church on Sundays by a little old lady. For sale, French rifle, only dropped once...

Those explosive reactive armor may just be egg crates. Seems commanders can buy some nice villas with the money they make selling them.

Obviously, going to some army installation for a valuation. Yuma, El Paso ?
