There is a Russian integrated air defense system (IADS) called Pansyr (or Pansir). The UAE purchased some for the faction in Libya they back. They were getting popped off with some regularity. Someone who had control of a couple of them decided he would rather have two-million dollars in a Swiss bank account than a missile magnet. A C-5 flew in and picked them up, flew them to Ramstein AFB, thence to the United States.
My guess is that that particular T-90 is headed to a turntable on a test range at Sandia National Laboratories. Call it a hunch.
Yeah. SA-22 Pantsir. They were garbage as they were designed...guess where? (Moscow). So they didn’t work in the desert. Hint: Northern Europe doesn’t have AC so they never thought about the cooling aspect!
