Donald Trump was on TRUTH Social just last month
implying Ron DeSantis is a groomer pedophile, so I'm not sure how one can reasonably think DeSantis is obligated to speak up on Trump's behalf at this point. I know the world of politics differs from real life, but if it was me that someone was insinuating was a groomer, I wouldn't exactly be rushing to their defense on anything afterwards.

This is a ridiculous take, and shows the delusion of blind support. If the shoe were on the other foot, Trump would be leading crowds to chant “lock him up”.

DeSantis was elevated above his station and his competence due to President Trump, then he near immediately abandons. A career politician whose only job was as a prep school teacher where he fraternized with students. Not a good look.

Saw that earlier (using Google Translate) in Izvestiya (iz.ru) and later on Komsomolskaya Pravda sites. Might be something to it.

I’ll bet DeSantis does speak up, because he’s a man of discipline and character. Maybe, like me, he’s seen too many bombshells that didn’t do off, nooses that didn’t really tighten, and walls that didn’t quite close in to be buffaloed into an early reaction

The Left wants nothing better than to have us in a political brawl, brother against brother with the GOP and two minor splinter parties versus a united Dem one. 60% majority in the next election.

fighting

other.

DeSantis has revealed himself to be a disloyal jackal, a hollow man- but what could one expect from a career government drone with minimal natural charisma. Per his character, I think we see the lack thereof with his comportment over the last several months- to say nothing of his unexceptional career in fedgov.
To: Trump20162020
Yep. And it’s not DeSantis’s job to have to comment on everything Trump does.

I went to a prep school for seven years. Fraternizing with the students is normal and generally expected.

At off-campus parties, where alcohol was served to minors? Do tell, do you think that is appropriate or moral? Do you think the enemy will not use that against him?
To: jcon40
And it’s not DeSantis’s job to have to comment on everything Trump does. It damn well is DeSantis's job to stand for the rule of law and against a political prosecution --- especially when the political prosecution could benefit him, personally.

Never confuse lack of motion with lack of action.
That said, RDS has a day or two to figure this out.

The attacks on either one supposedly on behalf of the other are doing no one on the conservative side any good.
I find them all highly suspect.
