Correct for 2024. Unlike others, I think it will happen at some point. Even the cheaters will be begging for a change at some point as things get worse and worse. I see a possible Republican presidency again within the next 20 years. 2036 perhaps.
Let’s see, what was it Fredrick Douglas said, Soap Box, Ballot box and, uhhhh…
Even if fixed Republicans won’t win be we are stupid
As seen in 2022, 10% of Republicans will either not vote or vote for the Democrat over Trump or a Trump endorsed candidate.
But if Desantis wins the primary, an equal number if not more of Trump supporters will stay home or vote for the Dem out of spite.
Meanwhile the Dems will vote for whom they are told no matter what.
So even without cheating, we lose.
That is the truth. Democrats have layers and layers of “security” mechanisms to prevent a Republican from winning again.
You might want to change what you wrote then, because your point was lost.
Yours is the best answer I’ve seen so far. Although I believe there is a strategy for victory. It will take a broad consensus among real Americans. Whatever the success rate, I can assure you it will be met with violence. We’ll just have to prepare to work through that.
Yeah. It doesn’t appear however, that I can edit the post. I’d prefer to be wrong on that point.
The point here is not that the situation is hopeless. Rather the point is that republicans are not clued into the real game.
It is possible to win. But not the way the republicans are currently playing it.

That’s what you get when the opposition party has the “most extensive voter fraud organization in history” and no one does anything about it except gaslight the public that he never said that (Just like they say that Obama never said “my muslim religion”).

the deep question is how can republicans win in the context of the current playing field
That’s how Stalin took control. “It’s not who votes but who counts the votes”
This is the sine quo non of authoritarian regimes.
He said “my Muslim faith”
If I’d been Trump,I would have used my organization to set up election reform groups in every state, staffed by my supporters who would have had an outlet for their energy band frustration at a level where grassroots efforts can be effective. Instead there was some lawfare (which is a democrt-rigged game) and golf. Trump acts like the most urgent issue is which nickname to use for DeSantis.
The constitution is weak but it is what it is, and it gives authority for elections to the state. Everyone knows it, everyone knows no court is going to say otherwise, yet everyone sits on their ass pretending things will magically be different in 2024.
Thank you sir, may I have another?
Barring alien invasion or nuclear war, how likely is that?
You’re right. But wrong reason.
Too much infighting in the Republican party. Like herding a bunch of alpha male tigers.
(Yes, I'm yelling.)
