FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — State health officials announced Friday that a person who attended an Asbury University revival service has a confirmed case of measles.
Officials say the person is a Jessamine County resident and attended the revival on February 18. No other information will be given due to privacy concerns.
“Anyone who attended the revival on Feb. 18 may have been exposed to measles,” said Dr. Steven Stack, commissioner of the Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH). “Attendees who are unvaccinated are encouraged to quarantine for 21 days and to seek immunization with the measles vaccine, which is safe and effective.”

Antivaxxers existed before covid. And screwed up our herd immunity to things like measles.
And what about anyone who was shopping in stores she frequented? Hmm. Shopping, indeed.
My BS detector just went off (not because of your post - I just didn’t want to respond to the nitwit OP).
What better way to break up a Christian gathering than to spread rumors of a contagious health threat.
Since the Jab is not a vaccine how does being against the Jab make one an antivaxxer?
I am firmly against being forced or coerced into being injected with an experimental gene therapy drug. Or any drug that hasn’t been fully tested and in safe public use for 10 years. How that transforms into being against vaccines in general is unclear to me.
Could be. But you have to ask why only 1 case then.

Why would someone with measles go to the revival except to cause it to shut down?
Looking for an excuse to stop a move of God.
“Attendees who are unvaccinated are encouraged to quarantine for 21 days"
Couldn't possibly have anything to do with the millions of human Petri dishes streaming across the wide-open US borders.
No, according to airheaded, hate-filled bigots, it could only be because of people who disagree with the vaccine Nazis.
1. illegal aliens are pouring over the border with all kinds of diseases, including measles.
2. you did not post any citation that demonstrates this happened because of an "antivaxxer"
3. If you have your "vaxx", why would you worry about an "anti-vaxxer" getting measles... unless you are saying your "vaxx" didn't work.
4. We had measles as kids with no problems.
5. The evidence doesn't show the measles "vaxx" cured measles...
“I’ll bet if it was a BLM or pride rally; or even a chemical spill they would be saying there’s no danger at all.”
I heard Pride types were leading the Revival...
Well ya never know. The spirit moves the saved and unsaved alike as he will. I would imagine even some illegals might have a bit of a conscience and be bothered, and maybe be seeking spiritual guidance. Of the millions that are pouring in, I’d eager some are like that at least.
My money is on the nasty 3rd world illegal POS disease riddled trash coming across the border bringing back diseases we haven’t seen in 50 years or more.
[[So what exactly is the problem?!]]
In libsrals minds, It happened in a religious setting... they must destroy the religious setting. They are getting too uppity. Spreading disease all around, causing a ruckus! Gotta keep the man down and obedient! /s
“Probably just a BS story meant to stop the spread of the revivals. Doesn’t everyone get measles and chicken pox at some point if they are not vaccinated anyway? This sounds like more of a psyop. A big nothing burger meant to disparage the revival attendees.”
Yep, you nailed it.
Measles vaccine was licensed in 1963.
When I was seven (1957) there was measles in my classroom. My Dad was a doctor, and he had a public health nurse come to the house and give me a shot of gamma globulin (which contained antibodies to measles, back then) and so I didn't get sick. I also didn't become immune.
When I was 28, I caught measles from a patient. I developed measles hepatitis, measles myocarditis and was out of work for three months. My EKG still has the same abnormality that developed back in 1978.
The big question about the vaccine is, does it confer lifelong immunity as natural infection does. It certainly seems like it does, I can't imagine measles outbreaks in nursing homes beginning in a few years, as childhood vaccination which became universal in the 1970s wears off.
Lol. I’m Catholic. The one true apostolic church. Learn. These trendy fake religions are blasphemous. But you just go on feeling good. Lol.
You must be one of the Branch Covidians here on FR. The CDC is your church and Fauci is your god. Don’t forget to put on your mask.
So you believe in the Pope and the garbage that comes from the Vatican? I’d say maybe that’s what’s clouding your judgement or maybe it is the nineteenth booster?
As kids we all had measles, mumps and chicken pox. And, as I recall no one ever died from any of those diseases.
Sounds like you need another dose of Commie Corrovid nonsense. Open wide…
