Gisele Fetterman revealed on Friday that after her husband admitted himself into a Washington, D.C.-area hospital for treatment for severe depression last week, she packed up her kids at home in Pennsylvania and took a road trip. But not to Washington.
"We drove straight into … Canada," Gisele announced on Twitter.
"1 week ago today when the news dropped, the kids were off from school and media trucks circled our home. I did the first thing I could think of … pack them in the car and drive," she said.

What a curious thing. The governor owes Fetterman and the little Mrs nothing. There’s plenty of other left wing looks to appoint when Fetterman resigns. Mrs Fetterman may have just screwed the pooch by this strange manuever

I suspect this is more than the depression storyline put out by the Fetterman office. This is a cognitive issue brought on by the serious stroke and depression is a symptomatic result of the cognitive issue. This guy may be in long term care and end up as a ward of the Federal government for the next 6 years if he survives. I question whether he will even be able to fulfil his 51st vote promise for a long time.

Saying she fled looks bad but she could just say she needed a break and it would be forgotten the poor poor girl. Truth is she is a hotty married to a veg and she has needs. A woman craves passion and someone to tell her she’s beautiful. She went to Canada where she wouldn’t be recognized.
They will roll his bed into the capitol or have him vote by zoom.
This is the first time I have felt sorry for him. Go to the hospital and your wife leaves the country with your kids? I guess the DNC will send an intern to sit by his bed.
Past history says that voters see a greiving widow and say 'lets console her by giving her the seat her husband held'. It has happened a bunch of times.
But I'll bet it doesn't work when they see that the "grieving" wife bailed out when the husband needed her support. And that is all the Gov needs to throw her under the bus and put one of his own cronies in.
I don't believe remote voting is allowed in the U.S. Senate. This will be a problem for democrats with Fetterman in the hospital or convalescing at his home.
