This is the most disappointing speech I have ever watched. What happened to her? I thought her job was to rebut the lies and obfuscations of Brandon.
All I heard was stories about her time with The Donald.

Thanks for the fun thread, just watched Sarah’s speech and gonna pile on with the multitude here, but hey, it’s an opinion site and you’ve got as much right to yours as anyone.

Meanwhile, Brandon’s speech was a pact with the devil. He and the Dems are satanically evil.

There’s another thread (maybe ONLY one) about the speech which is full of praise. They almost uniformly
thought it was great. I only heard a few minutes of it (which got the anticipated applause at the end) and I am pretty sure it detailed the “Unity” across the country that took place after 9-11 and had masses chanting USA!!USA!!! over and over, as a imperishable moment of Unity we found we were capable of. It was clear what she was trying to say with this citation, and for me, that was enough to make ME “sorely disappointed”. I have a bit different take on 9-11 than most people.
The left is using the tactic of sensory overload.

They are using the strategy of Cloward-Piven on politics now. Overwhelm the opposition with too many narratives so that we lose focus on the real agenda.

“Sorely disappointed.” I understand. Sarah’s speech gets an A+ from me, because Sarah’s speech was honest, patriotic and hopeful.
These are precisely the kinds of terms that need to be used. These people are lunatics. The colleges have festered these diseased ideas for years until they had enough critical mass to break out and take over the public discussion. That they are insane. That they are freaks. That they are child abusers and fascists. These are the labels that need to be applied.

One thing about Leftists: They always overplay their hand. Genuine people know when they've had enough, and they're sick and tired of "crazy."
Fortunately, the fight against cancel culture seems to be winning because enough "prominent" people started to say no.
Also, I think the Twitter emails had a lot to do with driving a stake through the heart of cancel culture.
Without the fear of being cancelled, more people are fighting back against the rest of it.

scratch my entire post starting with the words “There’s another threa (maybe ONLY one)””” I finally heard all of Sarah’s rebuttal and the part I thought was a celebration of post-9-11 Unity was actually her talking about the enormous enthusiastic crowds gathering from Trump rallies when she accompanied him all those months ago....Big mistake on my part.
Find something else to worry about.
