Black History Month is a time to honor triumphs of African Americans throughout history, but students and parents at Nyack Middle School raised the alarm after a racially insensitive meal was offered on the first day of the month.

This reminds me of one of the many times AOC made an insufferable ass of herself,at the beginning of the scamdemic calling people who avoid Chinese restaurants as racist. This after decades of lib health nazis warning us how unhealthy Chinese food is. It's got lots of sodium they told us. That fried stuff will kill you they told us. It's loaded with "deadly MSG they told us. Egg rolls,won ton soup,lo mein shrimp with lobster sauce are CULTURAL APPROPRIATION they told us. So if we eat the stuff,THATS RACIST! If we don't eat the stuff THAT'S RACIST. The hustle never ends.

Nyack is like San Francisco on the Hudson and that's saying a lot considering how hopelessly blue the NYC metro area is. They just changed the name of the HS football team from the Indians, even though 95%+ of people with Native lineage who live there opposed that dumbass move and during pride month named a street for Bayard Rustin simply because he lived there for a short time. Growing up in Rockland I've seen this town evolve from a modest affordable village into a progressive overpriced 💩hole.

Me too. I was in college the first time I heard of this as “black people food”. My white, Kansan parents had brought this on picnics all my life. All I can say is, when it comes to eating great food, they can call me whatever they want, but I’m on team fried chicken and watermelon.
