I thought it was pretty good, but it only lasted one season.
I have this imprinted memory playing the arcade game Lunar Lander at a New Hampshire arcade with Believe It or Not playing on the speakers back around 1981.
Was a pretty hit song..
Loved it. Introduced my kids to it a couple of years back. They loved it too.
Cannell screwed James Garner out of pay. Well, according to Garner.
I liked Tenspeed.
Greatest American Hero wax fun but couldn’t decide on the focus between FBI Bill and the school kids.
Ralph got the instructions back but it didn’t help the show.
Do you know who his mother was? I was a big fan of hers.
The Rockford Files. Best TV show ever made, period. Also, Cannell wrote several great books. His style is unique.
The Greatest American Hero’s name suddenly became “Mr H.” after the assassination attempt on Reagan.
William Katt is the son of Barbara Hale? that played Della Street on Perry Mason.
During the mid to late 80s writers strike they brought back Perry Mason. Mission Impossible, etc. Actually good remakes. Katt played son of the private eye Paul Drake from the original Perry Mason.

“The Rockford Files.”
LOL! As I was typing about GAH was thinking about Rockford files!
Also a fan of Magnum P.I.
Yes - I remember they had a scene of dialog which served as an inside joke for those who knew that on one of the Perry Mason movies where Della Street, Perry Mason, and the younger Paul Drake had a conversation about his mother being worried about him.
“Do you know who his mother was? “
