My wife and I have been watching old episodes of The Greatest American Hero on a free Roku app.
Love it! Great post!

That was a great show. Too bad it was cancelled too soon.

Not mentioned here that I see was this fact.
Hinckley was the name of the shooter that assailed President Reagan. That name caused the show to be retired during the season that the shooting occurred.

Unlikely, Reagan was shot the month it came out. It went on for two years afterwards.

Hinckley was the name of the shooter that assailed President Reagan. That name caused the show to be retired during the season that the shooting occurred. No, they just changed his name from Ralph Hinckley to Ralph Hanley

Robert Culp was great and Connie Sellecca was beautiful.
A really fun show for the time.
Trivia: Culp hated Cosby..Culp was responsible for getting cosby the Ispy role then in later years when Culp was struggling in the business Cosby ignored him.

That was a nice show. Light comedy done by experienced professionals. As you all remember, one of the co stars;
Robert Culp was made famous years before that series.
Robert was one of the duo stars of I-Spy with Bill Cosby.
Pam Dawber went from this show to Mork & Mindy (Loathed it!)
Re’ Greatest Am. Hero.
I’ve always like that theme song;
“Believe It Or Not” by Joey Scarbury
Energetic and optimistic sounding.
To: nickcarraway
Never saw the show. It was after my time. I remember hearing the song, though.

If they still made them like that, I’d still be watching broadcast TV.

I had the biggest crush on William Katt!
Liked the “I Spy” guy. Robert Culp.
Loved the song.
All back a long time ago when I watched TV. Really liked this one, but I think my favorite show ever was M.A.S.H. (Went into medicine)
