Sometimes all it takes is a single wokester complaint for the world to be turned upside down. A woke minority now has the power of 'one.'
Whenever I come across information about those who give in to the demands of the woke, it is never from a multitude of complaints. A small minority, often a single person, amount to the only ones complaining, and making demands which should not be given into.
In 2018, from a local radio station, I heard the news about another radio station that stopped playing, Baby, It’s Cold Outside, due to a single listener complaining. Not a horde, but a single listener who was apparently the only one offended.
I thought the local hosts were playing a joke. But found out it was true.
From Global News, which was one site of many that carried the story:
Station WDOK Christmas 102.1 yanked the song after fielding a call from a concerned listener who suggested the song was inappropriate in this day and age.
A single caller got them to stop playing the song, which never should have happened. With every other listener having no problem, the host should have played the song every half hour.
The radio station I listened to found every version they could of that song, and played it back-to-back. That was also a good response. They did not cancel the song over a single complaint. They had fun with it.

Actually my complaint about Baby It’s Cold Outside is that it is in no way a Christmas song andshould be omitted from Playlist along with My Favotite Things.
There was a story in December, I think, from Massachusetts — someone walked into the town library and saw a Christmas tree and complained. I believe the librarian took the tree down.
Now, just imagine walking into your local library and complaining about those Rainbow flags hanging on the wall. Do you think those would come down in a jiffy? More likely that the librarian would call the cops on you for your hate speech.
Neither is Jingle Bells, but I'm not going to lose sleep and go all cancel culture over it.

I’ve been complaining about that awful “12 Days of Christmas” song (the worst! by anybody), but everybody just keeps playing it.

That took a lot of convincing
We have a whole generation who have no clue about flirting, teasing, desire, innocent “fooling around”, sexual chemistry, seeking out a long term partner between men and women. As Camille Paglia says “ If you need to sign a permission slip for kissing, you’re doing it all wrong.”

There is a duet version out - made possibly in the early 60’s - where the woman’s voice and lyrics are doing the persuading, and guy is the one backing up to the door.
Cute difference. Good voices.
