I first heard it in a disco. It danced well.

I suppose FUNKY in the title would have been a tipoff.
Nres
But I actually do not understand what differentiates funk from other music genres

“COVID came from Ozzie!” (I’m surprised the ChiComs didn’t try that lie. They tried everything else!)

I HATED that song when it was popular. WRKO in Boston must have played it ten times a day for a couple of months or so.

Today it brings back memories of more innocent times so I do thank you for posting and will bump this thread accordingly.

By the way, alt-rockers The Replacements did a surprisingly good rocking cover of that song.

I think Ozzy developed an immunity to rabies at some point in his career. He's done way more disgusting things by the way. He may actually rival Keith Richards in longevity only because nothing seems to be able to kill him.

Anyway, I found this clip of the DeFranco Family performing this song live on TV. Young Tony really puts his heart into the performance but the rest of the family are as stiff and wooden as can be.

The clip is worth it just for the very solemn and dignified introduction by the TV host. You'd think he was introducing the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra featuring Pavarotti or something.

It's a bubble-gum pop act. Relax dude.

Yeah you know you are actually correct about Keith and Ozzy, they seem to be immortal.
