Conspiracy theorists believe the shape on Google Earth could be of the mythical creature Big Foot.
Conspiracy theorists have gone into overdrive after spotting a creature they believe to be Big Foot on Google Earth. The shape was spotted in western Colorado at coordinates 38°16'24" N. 108°08'32.
Big Foot is a mythical bear-like creature believed by some to live in the woods of North America.
The screengrab was posted in a Reddit community dedicated to sightings of the creature.
The caption of the screeshot stated: "Is it a bear? A puddle? A hiker without gear? Impossible to say for certain but the darker areas of the subject align with the shadows of other objects nearby.
"Measures around 7-7.5 feet. Appears hunched over. Subject does not appear on other satellite images from different years which might imply that subject is mobile or not stationary object."
They wrote: "I’m actually quite familiar with that general area. I lived in Montrose for 26 years and used to camp and hike on the Uncompahgre Plateau.
"There was one section on that loop hike that sometimes gave me the willies in a vague and undefinable way, and at least one other person I know said the same thing about that area.
"I don’t know about the image, but I do know that the Uncompahgre Plateau is big, rugged, and at least POTENTIALLY squatchy."
This isn't the first time a mythical creature has been spotted in the United States, recently photos captured what some thought could be the Loch Ness monster off the coast of North Carolina.
However, unlike the Loch Ness monster, there is believed to be more than one Big Foot.
Also known as a Sasquatch, there is believed to be more than one roaming the Earth's surface.
The myth of Big Foot originates from when the United States was dominated by tribes.
Some of these tribes drew cave paintings depicting a large creature covered in hair.
Furthermore, 16th Century Spanish explorers also reported large creatures that prayed and watched their camps during the night.

There’s cousin Eddy out for a stroll in his Buffalo Robe Coat!
Well as long as its on google earth and not here...
Ha!
Looks like about 22-25 ft. high. Not an animal.
A black blob seen from space can only be bigfoot.
Geez. Can’t poor Mobama take a walk in peace?
I just drove from Reno to Fort Bragg for absolutely no reason a few days ago. Intended to just get a snack in Tahoe City, then thought instead that I would get a bite in Grass Valley, and then just kind of ended up at the ocean. Anyway, in the mountains between Ukiah and the coast I ran into a big foot, but unfortunately, my camera suddenly went out of focus then ran out of battery
Dang...took six comments to get a Michael picture. We’re falling down...
What the hell does Bigfoot have to do with "conspiracy"??
That’s just a puddle, you can see the vegetation in the middle of it.
From just west of the Front Range and mostly south I-70 there have been many reported sightings and finding of odd tracks.
One suspicious track was found on the banks of Rush Creek (southwest of Vail) by a Forest Ranger who said he was in a very remote spot and found one large track on the bank of the creek. He said no one would walk that far to leave one fake track that had virtually no chance of being seen. That report is probably 25 years old or more.
It’s the shadow of a tree.
click bait
Bigfoot works for Pfizer.
I’m just here for thre Transquatch memes!

Another fuzzy pic of big foot or is it the Lochness monster doing a land tour?
Looks like about 22-25 ft. high.

A giant?
Took another look. If that’s a Sasquatch, it’s at about a 45 degree angle to the ground, defying gravity.
