That’s pretty incredible. When do they start using AI to do knockoffs of the classics? I could use a realistic Mona Lisa over the fireplace mantle.

Can’t wait until new movies with old actors come out. Bogart, John Wayne, Marilyn, Chaplin.

It’s interesting what people can do now with AI art. It’s created some debate apparently. It’s not considered by some to be true art. But some of the images created by it are quite impressive.

Don’t give them any ideas. Now days the Duke would be the Duchess.

I’m sure the perverts are already doing this.

Pretty soon I am going to spend a reasonable amount of time incorporating AI in my photography (composites) to make fantastical backgrounds and foregrounds. For work marketing, Business Reporting and SQL queries, spreadsheets, and web design.

I might be retiring this year, so it will be mainly for fun and maybe a side hustle to keep from getting bored. But AI is here to stay and a lot of technical professions need to worry.

We are at the start of the AI revolution and millions of jobs will become obsolete. I honestly believe this is the main reason for the recent massive tech layoffs. It’s not money, because every company that is laying off is spending billions upon billions of dollars on AI.

there is realistic, and then hyper-realistic- not a fan really of either- but prefer paintings that aren’t hyper-realistic- not that i don’t appreciate the talent needed to do hyper-realistic- but i just prefer a more painterly look

If that’s AI, I’m blown away. You can actually see a small scar-like blemish on her nose. Her eyes are beautiful.

when AI can see our thoughts- our ideas, and turn them into our particular unique art pieces, then it will be considered more art- till then it’s AI ‘art’, and anyone producing it should explain that it was done by AI with input from the person that uses the AI- in myopinion

The AI that can see into one’s mind, and create beautiful art based on what it gleans from the mind, is ‘closer to’ true art than what current AI today is capable of, but it’s still aided by ai-

I can envision scenes- colors etc, but me translating it into a painting is another story- it seldom comes out how i envision it- IF an AI program could get what i see in my mind onto a painting, then it begins being more art- but again- still art aided by AI- The AI today is AI ‘Art aided by humans via static inputs”

Well, with Today's Hollywood/weird, you might see John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart in Brokeback Mountain II

Be careful what you wish for!

Gay cosplay Spiderman. Spiderman already sucks, how’s he gonna swing on his web in a suit of armor?

As I recall, Ayn Rand said that a blemish showing on a photograph is nothing, but one on a painting was a commentary by the artist.
