Dill pickles can be found in most grocery store refrigerators across America. The crunchy, tart condiment veggie is perfect on a snack plate, on cheeseburgers, or even on its own. But after trying nine different dill pickles, I learned that not all brands are created equally.
The top brand from my taste test was the easy favorite with my friends and family who participated and let's just say the bottom brand isn't one I will be buying again, even if it's the only jar left on the shelves at the grocery store. Keep reading to find out the best tasting dill pickles that should always be in your refrigerator. Wife makes great garlic-dill pickles.
Our cukes, our dill, and our garlic.
And when the pickles are gone I fish the pickled garlic cloves out of the jar. Mmmmmmmm

I get the vlasic spears and a jar of Mango Habanero chips and when the chips are gone I put the spears into the Mango Habanero (Sam’s brand) jar for a week or two. Heavenly.
The Mango Habanero pickles have cubed mangos and one large habanero pepper in them.

I always add some pickle to tuna-fish salad for sandwiches too. Cuts the strong tuna taste just enough to smooth it out.

Love Claussen, Boar’s Head (cold), hate Vlasic and Mt Olive (heated). McClures, Sucker Punch, etc are all heated.

Several years ago I made a sweet pickle - had to let them sit in the mixture for several days before canning. My gosh were they good and no cucumber taste at all...sweet and so crispy you could eat them like potato chips!

I agree. I also add celery and grated onion, occasionally if I have it a hard boiled egg. Sometimes jalapeno if I want it spicy 🔥

Oh yes...onion and celery too! I even use celery seed if I have to. Adding a hard boiled egg makes it heavenly!
