It warms my heart to see my fellow citizens telling him what we really think of him.
In a large meeting at State Farm the Indians were arguing with each other and clearly not communicating, although they were allegedly talking English. I stood up and said “Everyone should put their comments in email and send it to all of us”.
It was adopted. Verbal communication was to be avoided. Put it in writiing.
I am so glad that you and your father are doing better and you were able to help him. Do you live together?
I will never know if my father died of Covid or if he even had it. It never said that he had on the death certificate. But he lived in a conservative county I suspect didn’t want to play Covid games and wanted to keep their Covid stats low.
He and my aunt were suspicious about the prevailing opinion on Covid and were against the vaxx and thought that there probably was something to Remdesivir being bad and the media and CDC lying about Ivermectin and other treatments, but they weren’t willing to take the I or even zinc on a regular basis.
For my aunt, she was afraid of them messing with medications and was not willing to put up with mild stomach upset from zinc or experiment with different brands.
My father didn’t even take vitamin D regularly despite having been told he was deficient. I think he kind of, sort of thought there really could be something to deficiencies and viruses.
He wasn’t very good with taking his meds. He wouldn’t even put them in one of those organizers. I can’t imagine life without one to keep me on track with supplements. He didn’t like people suggesting anything.
The Covid was so insidious with my aunt. She just had bad diarrhea and then all of sudden had low blood oxygen. Maybe she would have been willing to take Ivermectin if she had had other symptoms.
My dad seemed to have bounced back from the diarrhea. He did have congestive heart failure and lived in a very unclean environment. I always thought that there was 50/50 that the way he would go would be one day he wouldn’t answer the phone and I would find he had passed.
The real nutty part of me thinks we were poisoned at a restaurant Christmas Eve. I did notice an odd number of Chinese-looking people for the area. I also noticed a chemtrail over the general area— a shopping mall with a number of nice restaurants. It was kind of a strange time for one, I thought, as if was sundown.
It sounds as if your father can be reasoned with, trusts you, and is accepting of your help.
My S.O.’s parents got Covid in March or April of last year, somewhat bad, but stayed out of the hospital. They apparently had a stash of HCQ and other things. They aren’t the vaxxed. The mother is just as much of a conspiracy theorist about this Covid thing as I am. Their son is too, but I guess she actually goes off on Fauci, the cabal, etc. more than I do.
I can only hope that these mean “they won’t be able to walk on/down the street because they will be incarcerated”:

Taking things at face value, emoting, jumping the gun and misundestanding it, etc could be avoided just by a bit of thinking, re-reading, etc.

Drink tea with honey and spices instead of coffee and up your water intake.
Take regular doses of Ivermectin. I think you will find, as I have, that you will actually feel better than before after all that Ivermectin rids you of the normal life parasites we have.
I’ve felt younger this year than I did the year before Covid.
Get at least an extra hour’s sleep a night for a week. Watch some silly things on TV, like Wipe Out or World’s Dumbest Criminals to lighten things up.

Trump off the hook…” However, he states, that Biden has cooperated with authorities, while President Trump has not. This is just the opposite. Wise words. That article that Melian posted at post 1912, which I’ll repost below, is eerily almost word-for-word what I predicted we would one-day read somewhere.
While I agree with you that many people have to go through various stages as they come to terms with the past now almost three years and several will end up being better people for it in the end, there are going to be those we loose along the way because they will have allowed themselves to be driven mad.
The way I see it, there are a lot of immature people who don’t want to accept responsibility for their actions. In the case of the vaxseems, we have the case of millions of people who made the same wrong decision and some number of them are going to publicly, in articles, interviews, and tweets, blame the unvaxxed. Some other number are going to do this interpersonally in conversations. It’s going to seem at times as if they are the majority of the vaxxed. The only people who can shut them down effectively are other vaxxed.

Yes, ever since I helped him take care of Mom, who passed quite some time ago from Alzheimers. Dad can be reasoned with more easily than I, though I think he sometimes forgets he’s not the only technical guru in the family...
