Percogesic ?
Years ago I had stones 2 weeks after moving to a new state for a job. Family was still back home and I didn’t really know anyone.
I drive myself to the ER. They gave me something that was awesome.
They asked who was driving me home and I said Me.
They said “Do you have any idea what we just gave you?”
“Nope, but I’m driving home.”
They gave me my paperwork and told me to sit in the chair for four hours.
I thanked them and headed toward the door.
If it’s related to Tylenol, be careful of what it can do to your liver.
I just picked up a bottle of Advil Dual Action pills...acetaminophen 250 mg, ibuprofen 125 mg. Use no more than 6 caplets in 24 hours. Waiting for bad back pain to see if they work.
Maybe they actually gave you “super tylenol”.
They can give you a high prescription dose short term, but you can have liver problems if you stay on a high dose of acetaminophen long term
I don’t know about any super-tylenols (acetaminophen), but post-shoulder surgery I got the oral version of voltaren (diclofenac)- it’s a strong NSAID, so call it a super-ibuprofen or super-Aleve.
As an NSAID, it’s non-impairing and non-drowsy.
Regular tylenol, aleve, etc don’t do much at all for me, but the diclofenac was pretty decent.
Just throwing it out there. Good luck in your search.
Maybe Toradol - anti inflammatory - usually given with a shot or iv first then pills to carry on for the course of the treatment. Works wonders on bad knees and is non opiate
Could’ve been Percocet
Like the others said, probably Tramadol. They say it is a narcotic but most don’t consider it in the same class as codeine or hydrocodone type derivatives. Not really a drug to get high with.
“Does anyone know what that was?”
How about asking your doctor ...
You’re probably thinking about NSAIDs... commonly sold under the names “Alleve”, “Naproxen Sodium”, “Ibuprofen”, etc.
Tylenol (325mg) w/ Vicodin (5mg), possibly. The acetaminophen (Tylenol) can damage your kidneys, if you use it regularly.
Give me some 150mg Tramadol, or a bucket full of 30mg Oxys. Heh.
Tramadol. Its a synthetic opiate that some pass off as non-narcotic BUT IT IS NOT!
Be careful.
i used to get a lot of stones, and took opioids, fairly strong ones, that did practically nothing to cut the pain-
They say that combining tylenol with something like motrin i believe it was, acted ‘like opioids’ but without the high- I tried it- meh- wasn’t impressed with the pain relief
Norco?
