Trump's comments the last few days and the concessions McCarthy was forced to make, show that the situation was controlled by Trump and the good guys in the House working together. It's excellent.

Trump was undoubtedly making the best out of the situation that exists. No one does it better than him. He is the best of the best no doubt.
However,
Do you really think those concessions are real? Hardly! It's more likely they won't happen than will.
Also, is McCarthy the best we could get for speaker? I don't think so.Once again:
to change speakers it's a hard job! You need lots of support from people already voting for an entrenched speaker. From the complaints about McCarthy I have seen, many here, people are not happy with McCarthy nor should they be.
We could have done a lot better but it takes forever to get there and its not easy.
From time to time dark glasses are appropriate.

Reading your conversation Is a breath of fresh air, I feel ya. We must look for that second wind that keeps our sail full, it would be nice to be able to turn to our brothers and sisters here on TS but you guys are exactly right, there is an awful lot of infighting going on within this echo chamber. Like you, I believe it will all go away once shit hits the fan. One thing I will disagree with is that this will not succeed in the way of evil, the best is yet to come and I appreciate you patriots

I don't know about Flynn.
What I do know about however is McCarthy. He will be easy to judge. It's all action. Whatever comes out of his mouth will be just that idle comments.
Its all about actions, what does he do,not what he says, that never ever matters to me. It's only what he does.That tells me who he is,what he's all about and what to expect.

A newly discovered comet could be visible to the naked eye as it shoots past Earth and the Sun in the coming weeks for the first time in 50,000 years, astronomers have said.
The comet is called C/2022 E3 (ZTF) after the Zwicky Transient Facility, which first spotted it passing Jupiter in March last year.
After travelling from the icy reaches of our Solar System it will come closest to the Sun on January 12 and pass nearest to Earth on February 1.
