Apple announced the new iPhone 14 series back in September with a boatload of changes and new additions. While the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have been selling like hotcakes, the same can not be said about the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. According to the latest, Apple is considering a price cut for next year's iPhone 15 and the larger iPhone 15 Plus due to lower demand for the iPhone 14 and its 'Plus' variant. Scroll down to read more details on the subject.

I think this is the beginnings, of price reductions, for phones.
My opinion, at least.
Happy New Year, everyone.

Apple is going to suffer eventually. Their product innovation died with Steve Jobs. iPhone 25 and iPad gen12 will only go so far. Someone will innovate them into a death spiral. Just my opinion.

You are outside of your 15 minute perimeter citizen!. Now get in the van. It's for your own good.
The world will want to UNite in the face of such a crisis. You
DO want to be a good Global Citizen, right, citizen? Go Global. It's the worldly thing all good Global Citizens do.
1 John 2:15-17 - New King James VersionDo Not Love the World 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
=========================================
1 John 4:1-3 New King James Version
Love for God and One Another 1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now
===================================================
1 John 4:4-6 Revised Standard Version 4 Little children, you are of God, and have overcome them; for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

They are of the world, therefore what they say is of the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are of God. Whoever knows God listens to us, and he who is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

People who can afford to buy pro iPhones every year in Biden’s hyperinflated economy will continue to do so while everyone else will hold onto their perfectly good old phones longer.

The problem is really with all mobile devices. There isn’t a whole lot left to improve. The latest things like folding screens are kind of pointless.

My last cell phone lasted nearly 6 years. Only when it died did I buy a new one. I’m still using a laptop I bought nearly 7 years ago. I never replace a machine (or car) until the old one dies.

I suspect something will merge watches, with phones.
They are already there, basically.
I suspect that is the next step. Probably (very) quickly.

Mine stays home on Sundays. All geo tracking I can disable is done. So if I cross a time zone, I will have to do math. Tough I know.

My company issued iPhones for work last year since we still have flexible work from home schedules. First time I ever used an iPhone and I was shocked at how inconvenient and unnecessarily complicated it is. Even what should be the simple act of turning the phone off is an awkward two-handed process. Maybe they once were innovative, but Androids have passed them by significantly.

I don’t own, nor have I ever owned, an iPhone, but as I understand it from talking to family members who are into this product, the problem with the basic iphone 14 and 14+ is that Apple cheaped out and only made minimal improvements over the 13 models. The 14 pro made an improvement in the “notch” at the top center of the screen that signaled the direction Apple is going with the product, but in doing so they contributed to making the basic 14/14+ seem like an outdated rehash of the 13.
