Steven Tyler is accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in the 1970s: 'Victim' files lawsuit claiming she is the 'teen bride' in Aerosmith singer's memoir after he convinced her mom to grant him guardianship Julia Holcomb filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles under California's look-back law Accuses Tyler of sexually assaulting her when she was 16 and he was 25 Suit alleges Tyler gained guardianship of her from her mother to travel with her Tyler described the relationship in his memoir without naming Holcomb

Aerosmith star Steven Tyler has been accused in a lawsuit of sexually abusing an underage girl when she was 16 and he was 25 in the 1970s.

Julia Holcomb filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles in the final days of a California law that temporarily lifts the statute of limitations for such claims under a 'look-back' window that ends on Saturday.

The suit, first reported by Rolling Stone, does not name Tyler, identifying him as 'Defendant Doe,' but it quotes directly from Tyler's 2011 memoir describing the relationship.

Holcomb has also previously spoken publicly about her alleged relationship with the rock star.

Holcomb in the lawsuit accuses the music legend of sexual assault, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, alleging that he plied her with drugs after gaining guardianship from her mother and pressured her into an abortion.

A representative for Tyler did not immediately respond to a request for comment from DailyMail.com on Thursday night.

I like Aerosmith, too, but I never found him attractive, (not even later or now) and way too old for me being 11 when I discovered them in the mid to late 70s.

Like Eddie Murphy said, "All you got to do is sing to get women. Look at Mick Jagger, his lips are so big, even black people go 'He got some big ass lips!'"

That song,
Walk This Way, brings back flashbacks of everyone rolling on the rink at in middle school. Damn, I miss being a 70s kids. Looking back it seems surreal and another world.

Eddie Murphy is always a hoot.

I never found Steven Tyler attractive, either. My high school friends and I only had eyes for Joe Perry.

Maybe we also sensed that Joe Perry was a good guy? I just checked his bio: He’s been married to the same woman for decades, and he once described himself as a “lifelong Republican.”

I once read an article about this woman, Julia, and what happened to her with Steven Tyler when she was a teen. The story was horrific, especially the part about the abortion. IIRC, once Tyler saw what happened to the baby, he himself became upset and said something like, “What have I done?” Julia has been active in the pro-life movement for a long time.

I’m not sure I agree with filing a lawsuit so many years later, though.

I can’t recall Joe Perry, but my big crush at the time was Shawn Cassidy and Parker Stevenson, The Hardy Boys. I had Shawn Cassidy pants with his image on the bell bottoms and a jacket. I was big into, Peter Frampton, the I’m In You, album. That song still sends shivers down me. Unfortunately, Frampton turned out to be a huge, leftoid, slobbering over Obama.
I read Julia’s story 10 or 11 years, ago, too. She was a pro-life advocate so it’s not something she made up. I think Steven Tyler’s team may try settling, but whatever happens, he’s going to have to face his Maker, and answer for what he forced a 16 year old girl to do to her own baby. That baby was still alive.

Those were the days... When I was about 12, Shaun Cassidy was one of my first albums, and I remember watching the Hardy Boys, too, and listening to Frampton on the radio. Good memories.

By 14, I was listening to other music, and Aerosmith’s first album was a favorite.

1973 - 50 years ago.

Statue of limitations should be 10 years.

But, I never was a big fan of Steven Tyler. There was something about him that was off-putting. Maybe we sensed that he was not a good guy.

Did you ever listen to Donna Summer, too? I used to love her songs when I was 13 and 14. I wore out the Live Album. McArthur’s Park. By 15 I was listening to Van Halen and Led Zeppelin, right after John Bonham died.

I listened to Donna Summer’s songs on the radio. Same here about Van Halen and Zeppelin. I had a ticket to see Zeppelin live when Bonham died - I was 15.

“I had a ticket to see Zeppelin live when Bonham died - I was 15.”

You’re so lucky. I remember when they were supposed to be coming to the Superdome in 1978, and then the running billboard said, Refunds for Zeppelin tickets. That was when Robert Plant’s four year old son died. All Of My Love, was dedicated to him.

I predict a clown world settlement. Tyler wants to be able to continue schtupping kids and that’s the only way it can continue.

ALMOST FAMOUS’s original film music was written by Cameron Crowe’s wife (at the time), Nancy Wilson of “Heart”.

Nancy Wilson also wrote the original film score to Cameron Crowe’s film “Elizabethtown”.

It is believed that Mary would have been about 14 years old when Gabriel gave her the news of the Lord being born to her (Ibid.).

But Cronus inherited the fear of his father and believed that one of his offspring would later take his throne. So, when they were born, he swallowed them. However, Rhea was expecting a sixth child and fearing it would share the same fate with her other children, she secretly gave birth on a mountain in Crete and hid the newborn there. She named the child Zeus.

and of course there is Santa Claus...

How very sad about Plant’s young son.

Bonham died before the concert I had tickets to see, so I never saw Zeppelin live. I remember two things happening: One was that my high school announced Bonham’s death over the loudspeaker. The other is that the ticket seller refused to refund the tax portion of my ticket.
