The fact someone even wants to run for office suggests they are crazy. So why vote for a crazy person?

To say we have a massive uphill battle, with both hand and legs tied behind our backs, would be to underestimate the situation by orders of magnitude.
Not only do stupid people vote, but their votes count for more than the votes of intelligent people. Between mail-in balloting, ballot harvesting and lack of basic ballot integrity in the stupidest areas of our country, the deep state is free to gin up results as they see fit.

Voters are greedy. They have been taught that one should vote primarily in one’s self-interest. After all America is the country of the “individual”. People unfortunately learned a long time ago that they can vote to increase their income through various government programs, tax credits, and policies. We -here on FR like to repeat the phrase “We’re a Republic not a Democracy”, but virtually every law, Amendment, and Supreme Court decision in the last 100 years has broadened the franchise AND corresponding feeling of entitlement. What we are witnessing in slow motion is how representative government may eventually die. The Founding Fathers anticipated it, and some were openly worried about the citizenry’s ability to keep it.
Having 50% stupid voters . . . many which never should have been given the vote in the first place . . . the answer is really quite simple.
Years ago I noticed that after the American people fell in love with Presidents that seemed youthful — because of Kennedy — that in the general election, with the notable but understandable exception of LBJ who was Kennedy’s VP, the candidate with the poofiest hair won.
Naturally there were nuances such as W and Kerry both had poofy hair but Kerry’s face was visually longer so as a matter of perception W was poofier. Also it didn’t how poofy their hair was if the candidate was black or a woman.
So aside from the last guy that STOLE the election poofy wins for white men ... even if they are actually old dudes.
In Congress by contrast all that seems to matter is a letter by the name, even if they are proven backstabbing douchebags who think Reagan’s Rule is for losers and getting along with Democrats is how you show you are a “stateman” ... and of course douchbaggery only seems to increase with the number of terms for both parties.
So there you have it and I guess the point in all this is that idiots are running the show because many voters are idiots ... when the elections don’t get stolen by Democrats and then many voters are disenfranchised idiots.
Also: I’m glad I’m not a drinker because having posted this, if I were, I would be facing a serious hangover tomorrow.
