40 in far western Colorado, 24 is the forecast low. We are obviously not in the path of the cold spell.

A balmy 7 in SE TN. with a wind chill of -6. Nice sunny day with a high of 11. So nice that the neighbor had clothes out on the clothesline.

[We really appreciate our summers in Buffalo, because they only last about a week and a half..]
Sounds like about 10 days of pure joy!
Yikes!

I know you’re being facetious but I’ve heard stories about Buffalo snow from someone who lived there

It’s not the heat but the humidity.

I have seen snow in May, and in October. That leaves June, July, August and September. August and September are nice, but it starts getting chilly at night. There have been plenty of cold Memorial Days, so June can be so-so. I have lived here all my life, and I (thankfully) have never seen snow in July.
But it is all good. Western New York is literally the greatest place to live, and one of our country's best kept secrets. The cold weather keeps the riff raff out.
