Brittney Griner’s homecoming party at a church in Waco, Texas didn’t get quite the turnout many expected. According to a report from ESPN, around 20 people showed up to welcome the WNBA star home from her detainment in Russia.
Per the report, the crowd was sparse at University Baptist Church, located within two miles of Baylor’s campus. The story indicated that part of the reason why the turnout wasn’t much bigger was because the school was on winter break.

To me, the saddest part is that this was done at a Baptist church.
So, a big party planned for a giant black lesbian draws a tiny crowd, it could be for the same reason that the gay romance movie flopped, there are far fewer gays and lesbians than we are led to believe.

Any kind of party this close to Christmas is going to be a bad proposition. Should have waited until MLK weekend….

It would have been a larger crowd had school been in session, then they could have forced the kids to have attended during school.

Listening to media coverage of Griners release, we would have thought her homecoming party should have been held at the AT&T stadium, followed by a ticker tape parade. Just proves media and Democrats ability to manipulate the public.
