Thanks! I’ll watch that. She has always been mean-mouthed and impulsive but it’s much worse now. My granddaughter talked her into seeing a therapist but with her personality, I don’t have much hope. She was mean before. She’s scary now.

McConnell just agreed upon a plan to neuter the next Congress with his Trillion Plus++ spending bill which, when passed, runs thorough the first year of the next Congress. He tied the hands of the House for half their term.

This was done to strategically neuter any election message for the GOP (think MAGA candidates and POTUS Trump). In doing this McConnell has made the newly elected GOP house COMPLICIT in the runaway pork barrel spending and the Bidenectomy on the US Economy for the time leading up to the next election.

The only election message from now until the election of 2024 is “What will you do without FREEDOM?” and I am not sure the GOP understands that this is their only message.

The house has no power of the purse to use to stymie the Dems, DS, or the GOPe between now and the election. There is nothing to block in congress for the damage has been done. Mitch has enslaved the American people to the uniparty. The way out is at the local level bottom up through the next election, every city, county, state, elective office must be contested, judgeships must be contested, sheriff positions, JOP positions, school boards all must be contested.

The uniparty must be beaten on the streets face to face, handshake to handshake, eye to eye. We The People have the power if we will use it, for there is not enough $$$ in the DS coffers to contend such an onslaught as can be brought neighbor to neighbor.

Their strength is the media, the strength of the people is personal relationships one person at a time.

Pray that We the People are up to and willing to take on the battle for the future of the Greatest nation on the earth that our government “of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth!”.

Feed stores here typically have a bulletin board too with people who sell. We used oat straw for 25 years for our dairy goats. It is soft and comfortable for bedding. It is pricier but if you only need one bale probably in the 5 buck range. We no longer have goats but I still buy 1 bale yearly for our compost pile. Pic of oat straw - Pic of wheat straw -

Not only that...but if you need straw for protecting plants...or as a filler on a muddy driveway;

The feedstore usually has a barn where the straw bales are located.

The barn floor gets clogged up with straw from the bales...usually swept up and discarded.

We used to use it as bedding in the goat shed.

I told my husband this morning that I think she needs an exorcist more than a therapist. He laughed.

When I say scary, she can be all sweet and normal but say one thing she doesn’t agree with and you can see the crazy in her eyes. Her entire body language changes right before your eyes. Her head drops down and when she looks back up, the expression on her face and in her eyes makes you think you are getting ready to be punched. I have never experienced anything like it. I don’t know much about severe mental illnesses, but I have read that they can act this way. She claims to have terrible night terrors and PTSD. I don’t know of anything in her life that would have caused all of that. I don’t recall ever spanking her. Maybe I should have. My dad got physical when he was stressed so I got knocked around some. He never truly hurt us, but I said I’d never do that to mine, and I didn’t.

I’m getting ready to amend my will. No way, at this time, she is sane enough to inherit this farm if something happens to me. I don’t think I’ll tell her though. :-)
